Abstract

An electronic device and hypnosis method includes setting a hypnosis volume level and a playing duration of the electronic device. An audio file is played in response to the electronic device being activated, and a brain wave frequency of a user is determined. The electronic device and hypnosis method further includes analyzing the brain wave frequency to determine if the user is in a sleeping state, and playing the audio file for the playing duration at the hypnosis volume level.

Claims

1. An electronic device, the electronic device in communication with a brain wave sensor, the electronic device comprising:

a storage system;

at least one processor; and

one or more programs stored in the storage system and being executable by the at least one processor, the one or more programs comprising;

a setting module operable to define a frequency band of brain waves of a user to determine if the user is in a sleeping state, and set a hypnosis volume level and a playing duration of the electronic device;

a processing module operable to play an audio file in response to the electronic device being activated;

a determination module operable to determine a brain wave frequency according to brain wave signals of the user collected by the brain wave sensor, and analyze the brain wave frequency according to the defined frequency band, to determine if the user is in the sleeping state; and

the processing module further operable to play the audio file at the hypnosis volume level, enable a timer of the electronic device to start timing the playing duration, and stop playing the audio file in response to the playing duration elapsing.

2. The electronic device according to claim 1, wherein the determination module determines that the user is in the sleeping state if the brain wave frequency is within the defined frequency band.

3. The electronic device according to claim 1, wherein the brain wave sensor comprises one or more electrodes and a second Bluetooth (BT) unit:

the one or more electrodes operable to collect the brain wave signals of the user; and

a second Bluetooth (BT) unit operable to send the brain wave signals to the electronic device.

4. The electronic device according to claim 1, wherein the setting module is further operable to set a switch-on command and a switch-off command of the electronic device.

The electronic device according to claim 4, further comprising a control module operable to send the switch-on command to the brain wave sensor to start collecting the brain wave signals of the user, or send the switch-off command to the brain wave sensor to stop collecting the brain wave signals of the user in response to the playing duration elapsing.

6. A hypnosis method using an electronic device, the method comprising:

defining a frequency band of brain waves of a user to determine if the user is in a sleeping state;

setting a hypnosis volume level and a playing duration of the electronic device;

playing an audio file in response to the electronic device being activated;

determining a brain wave frequency according to brain wave signals of the user collected by a brain wave sensor;

analyzing the brain wave frequency according to the defined frequency band, to determine if the user is in the sleeping state;

playing the audio file at the hypnosis volume level, and enabling a timer of the electronic device to start timing the playing duration; and

stopping playing the audio file in response to the playing duration elapsing.

7. The method according to claim 6, wherein the analyzing step comprises:

determining that the user is in the sleeping state if the brain wave frequency is within the defined frequency band.

8. The method according to claim 6, wherein the collecting step comprises:

collecting the brain wave signals of the user by one or more electrodes of the brain wave sensor; and

sending the brain wave signals to the electronic device.

9. The method according to claim 6, further comprising:

setting a switch-on command and a switch-off command of the electronic.

10. The method according to claim 9, further comprising:

sending the switch-on command to the brain wave sensor to start collecting the brain wave signals of the user.

11. The method according to claim 9, further comprising:

sending the switch-off command to the brain wave sensor to stop collecting the brain wave signals of the user in response to the playing duration elapsing.

12. A storage medium storing a set of instructions, the set of instructions capable of being executed by a processor to perform a hypnosis method using an electronic device, the method comprising:

defining a frequency band of brain waves of a user to determine if the user is in a sleeping state;

setting a hypnosis volume level and a playing duration of the electronic device;

playing an audio file in response to the electronic device being activated;

determining a brain wave frequency according to brain wave signals of the user collected by a brain wave sensor;

analyzing the brain wave frequency according to the defined frequency band, to determine if the user is in the sleeping state;

playing the audio file at the hypnosis volume level, and enabling a timer of the electronic device to start timing the playing duration; and

stopping playing the audio file in response to the playing duration elapsing.

13. The storage medium as claimed in claim 12, wherein the analyzing step comprises:

determining that the user is in the sleeping state if the brain wave frequency is within the defined frequency band.

14. The storage medium as claimed in claim 12, wherein the collecting step comprises:

collecting the brain wave signals of the user by one or more electrodes of the brain wave sensor; and

sending the brain wave signals to the electronic device.

15. The storage medium as claimed in claim 12, wherein the method further comprises:

setting a switch-on command and a switch-off command of the electronic.

16. The method according to claim 15, wherein the method further comprises:

sending the switch-on command to the brain wave sensor to start collecting the brain wave signals of the user.

17. The method according to claim 15, wherein the method further comprises:

sending the switch-off command to the brain wave sensor to stop collecting the brain wave signals of the user in response to the playing duration elapsing.
