1. An electronic device, the electronic device in communication with a brain wave sensor, the electronic device comprising:
- a storage system;
at least one processor; and
one or more programs stored in the storage system and being executable by the at least one processor, the one or more programs comprising;
a setting module operable to define a frequency band of brain waves of a user to determine if the user is in a sleeping state, and set a hypnosis volume level and a playing duration of the electronic device;
a processing module operable to play an audio file in response to the electronic device being activated;
a determination module operable to determine a brain wave frequency according to brain wave signals of the user collected by the brain wave sensor, and analyze the brain wave frequency according to the defined frequency band, to determine if the user is in the sleeping state; and
the processing module further operable to play the audio file at the hypnosis volume level, enable a timer of the electronic device to start timing the playing duration, and stop playing the audio file in response to the playing duration elapsing.
