Abstract

Systems and methods for providing content. In one embodiment, a method for providing user access to online content can be provided. The method can include aggregating content from one or more third party webpages; storing at least a portion of the content in at least one data storage device; and when the user requests, via a browser program, a selection of content from the one or more third party webpages, providing the user with access to the stored portion of content.

Claims

1. A method for providing user access to online content, the method comprising:

aggregating content from one or more third party webpages;

storing at least a portion of the content in at least one data storage device; and

when the user requests, via a browser program, a selection of content from the one or more third party webpages, providing the user with access to the stored portion of content.

2. The method of claim 1, further comprising:

facilitating user browsing of content from the one or more third party websites, wherein the user can indicate the selection of content from the one or more third party websites.

3. The method of claim 1, further comprising:

outputting the stored portion of content to the user via the browser program.

4. The method of claim 1, wherein aggregating content from one or more third party webpages comprises:

normalizing the aggregated content; and

cleansing the aggregated content.

5. The method of claim 1, wherein storing at least a portion of the content in at least one data storage device comprises receiving authorization to store the portion of the content.

6. The method of claim 1, wherein providing the user with access to the stored portion of content comprises:

generating a template for the user to view content; and

outputting the stored portion of content in the template, wherein the user can view the stored portion of content.

7. A system for providing user access to online content, the system comprising:

at least one data storage device operable to store computer-readable instructions;

at least one computer processor operable to execute the computer-readable instructions; and

a set of computer-readable instructions operable to;

aggregate content from one or more third party webpages;

store at least a portion of the content in at least one data storage device; and

when the user requests, via a browser program, a selection of content from the one or more third party webpages, provide the user with access to the stored portion of content.

8. The system of claim 7, wherein the set of computer-readable instructions is further operable to:

facilitate user browsing of content from the one or more third party websites, wherein the user can indicate the selection of content from the one or more third party websites.

9. The system of claim 7, wherein the set of computer-readable instructions is further operable to:

output the stored portion of content to the user via the browser program.

10. The system of claim 7, wherein the set of computer-readable instructions operable to aggregate content from one or more third party webpages is further operable to:

normalize the aggregated content; and

cleanse the aggregated content.

11. The system of claim 7, wherein the set of computer-readable instructions operable to store at least a portion of the content in at least one data storage device is further operable to receive authorization to store the portion of the content.

12. The system of claim 7, wherein the set of computer-readable instructions operable to provide the user with access to the stored portion of content is further operable to:

generate a template for the user to view content; and

output the stored portion of content in the template, wherein the user can view the stored portion of content.
