28. A manufacturing automation system for monitoring Cap and Trade emissions across multiple devices communicating within an industrial process, comprising:
-
at least one energy object having an identifier associated with an energy resource, an emission type, and a monitoring component to facilitate measurement recording of emissions from the resource within the industrial process; a controller having an emission cap parameter set within a memory of the controller, where the controller processes the at least one energy object; and an accumulation function operating with the controller and operatively communicating with the at least one energy object to accumulate the emissions from the energy resource and calculate a total emission, compare with the cap parameter, and provide notification for a trade if the cap is determined to be increased. - View Dependent Claims (29)
