Abstract

A website hosting service provides a plurality of services, from a common service architecture, to each of a plurality of unrelated websites, each of the plurality of services being adapted to contribute to a distinct service package for at least a plurality of unaffiliated websites, wherein the web hosting service is marketed through a plurality of websites, each one of the plurality of websites offering a different market specific offering, wherein service representatives supporting a plurality of different market specific offerings are provided with information that facilitates providing the appropriate service for a particular market specific offering.

Claims

1. A method of website hosting, comprising:

serving a plurality of website hosting services, at least two of the plurality of website hosting services served from different servers;

adapting one or more of the plurality of website hosting services to meet website service requirements;

combining the one or more adapted website hosting services to provide a plurality of service packages;

configuring the plurality of service packages into different market-specific offerings;

offering the different market-specific offerings through a plurality of websites; and

providing information to service representatives supporting a plurality of the different market-specific offerings that facilitates supporting a specific service package based on a specific market-specific offering.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein the different market specific offerings include different brands for the offerings.

3. The method of claim 1, wherein the different market specific offerings include different messages for the offerings.

4. The method of claim 1, wherein the different market specific offerings include different service terms and conditions for the offerings.

5. The method of claim 1, wherein the different market specific offerings include different pricing structures for the offerings.

6. The method of claim 1, wherein a distinct service package is included with a market specific offering.

7. The method of claim 1, wherein a plurality of distinct service packages are marketed through one of the plurality of websites.

8. The method of claim 1, wherein two market specific offerings may offer the same distinct service package at two different pricing structures.

9. The method of claim 1, wherein information facilitating providing the appropriate service is sourced from a common data store that is accessible to a plurality of service representatives.

10. The method of claim 1, wherein service representatives are provided with information facilitating providing the appropriate service by an operational support system that facilitates associating a client support request with a market specific offering.
