Abstract

Systems, methods, and computer program products are provided for dynamically building financial solution recommendations based on received inputs. These inputs, which may be received from the customer, an associate collaborating with the customer or from a customer database, may include customer behaviors, customer attitudes, customer life events, customer life interests, customer personal/profile data, customer financial data, such as portfolio data and the like. Based on the received inputs, financial solution recommendations are determined and presented to the customer in real time or near time. As such, the customer is able to instantaneously see how each input of recommendation criteria impacts the financial solution recommendations. Further, embodiments of the present invention provide for inputs to the financial solution recommendation tool/module to be received in a non-linear fashion, such that a customer or a collaborating associate may provide inputs at various entry points to accommodate specific financial solution needs of the customer.

Claims

1. A method for dynamically providing financial solution recommendations, the method comprising:

receiving, via a computing device, a plurality of inputs that each define criteria for recommending financial solutions;

determining, via a computing device processor, each time one or more of the inputs is received, one or more financial solution recommendations based on current inputs received; and

providing, via a user interface associated with the computing device, in real-time or near-real time to receiving an input, the one or more financial solution recommendations,

wherein a customer is capable of immediate comprehension of an impact that an input has on the one or more financial solution recommendations.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein receiving further comprises receiving, via the computing device, the plurality of inputs, wherein each of the inputs define at least one of a customer financial behavior, a customer financial attitude, a customer life event, a customer life interest, customer personal data or customer financial portfolio data.

3. The method of claim 1, wherein receiving further comprises receiving in a non-linear order, via the computing device, the plurality of inputs.

4. The method of claim 3, wherein receiving further comprises receiving in a non-linear order, via the computing device, the plurality of inputs, wherein the non-linear order of the inputs is based on the customer'"'"'s financial solution recommendation needs.

5. The method of claim 1, wherein receiving further comprises receiving, via the computing device, the plurality of inputs, wherein one or more of the inputs are based on one or more queries posed to the customer.

6. The method of claim 1, wherein receiving further comprises receiving, via the computing device, the plurality of inputs, wherein one or more of the inputs are received or derived from stored customer data, wherein the customer data includes one or more of profile data, account data, or transaction data.

7. The method of claim 1, wherein receiving further comprises receiving, via the computing device, the plurality of inputs, wherein one or more of the inputs are based on one or more queries posed to the customer and one or more inputs are received or derived from stored customer data, wherein the customer data includes one or more of profile data, account data, or transaction data.

8. The method of claim 1, wherein determining further comprises determining, via a computing device processor, each time one or more of the inputs is received, one or more financial solution recommendations, wherein the financial solution recommendations include at least one of a financial product, a financial service or an offer related to a financial product or a financial service.

9. The method of claim 1, further comprising receiving, via the computing device, one or more financial solution-customization inputs based on the one or more financial solution recommendations provided in the user interface.

10. The method of claim 9, wherein receiving the one or more financial solution-customization inputs further comprises receiving, via the computing device, the one or more financial solution-customization inputs that provide for comparing, on the user interface, one or more customized financial solutions to the one or more financial solution recommendations that are provided in the user interface.

11. The method of claim 9, further comprising providing, via the user interface associated with the computing device, in real-time or near-real time to receiving an input, a notation configured to alert the customer if the financial solution-customization input conflicts with a previous input.

12. The method of claim 1, wherein providing further comprises providing access to one or more networked multi-media demonstrations, each demonstration related to one or more of the financial solution recommendations that are provided.

13. The method of claim 1, wherein providing further comprises providing access to one or more networked tutorials, each tutorial related to one or more of the financial solution recommendations that are provided.

14. The method of claim 1, wherein determining further comprises determining, via the computing device processor, one or more best-fit financial solution recommendations based on two or more inputs received defining conflicting criteria for financial solution recommendations.

15. The method of claim 1, wherein providing further comprises providing, via the user interface associated with the computing device, in real-time or near-real time to receiving an input, the one or more financial solution recommendations, including notation that alerts the customer that the one or more best-fit financial solution recommendations may conflict with one or more received inputs.

16. An apparatus for providing dynamic financial solution recommendations, the apparatus comprising:

a computing platform having at least one processor and a memory in communication with the processor, and

a financial solution recommendation module stored in the memory, executable by the processor, and configured to receive a plurality of inputs that each define criteria for recommending financial solutions, determine, each time one or more of the inputs is received, one or more financial solution recommendations based on current inputs received and provide, in real-time or near-real time to receiving an input, a user interface that includes the one or more financial solution recommendations.

The apparatus of claim 16, wherein the module is further configured to receive the plurality of inputs, wherein each of the inputs define at least one of a customer financial behavior, a customer financial attitude, a customer life event, a customer life interest, customer personal data or customer financial portfolio data.

18. The apparatus of claim 16, wherein the module is further configured to receive the plurality of inputs in a non-linear order.

19. The apparatus of claim 18, wherein the module is further configured to receive the plurality of inputs in the non-linear order, wherein the non-linear order of the inputs is based on the customer'"'"'s financial solution recommendation needs.

20. The apparatus of claim 16, wherein the module is further configured to receive the plurality of inputs, wherein one or more of the inputs are based on one or more queries posed to the customer.

21. The apparatus of claim 20, wherein the module is further configured to present, via a computing device processor, one or more user interfaces that display the one or more queries and provide for receiving one or more of the plurality of inputs.

22. The apparatus of claim 16, wherein the module is further configured to receive customer data from a customer database and derive one or more of the inputs from the customer data, wherein the customer data includes one or more of profile data, account data, or transaction data.

The apparatus of claim 22, wherein the module is further configured receive one or more of the inputs based on one or more queries posed to the customer and derive one or more inputs from the customer data, wherein the customer data includes one or more of profile data, account data, or transaction data.

24. The apparatus of claim 16, wherein the module is further configured to determine the one or more financial solution recommendations, wherein the financial solution recommendations include at least one of a financial product, a financial service or an offer related to a financial product or a financial service.

25. The apparatus of claim 16, wherein the module is further configured to receive one or more financial solution-customization inputs based on the one or more financial solution recommendations provided in the user interface.

26. The apparatus of claim 25, wherein the module is further configured to receive the one or more financial solution-customization inputs that provide for comparing, on the user interface, one or more customized financial solutions to the one or more financial solution recommendations provided in the user interface.

27. The apparatus of claim 25, wherein the module is further configured to provide, via the user interface associated with the computing device, in real-time or near-real time to receiving an input, a notation configured to alert the customer if the financial solution-customization input conflicts with a previous input.

28. The apparatus of claim 16, wherein the module is further configured to provide access to one or more networked multi-media demonstrations, each demonstration related to one or more of the financial solution recommendations that are provided.

29. The apparatus of claim 16, wherein the module is further configured to provide access to one or more networked tutorials, each tutorial related to one or more of the financial solution recommendations that are provided.

30. The apparatus of claim 16, wherein the module is further configured to determine a best-fit financial solution recommendation based on two or more received inputs defining conflicting criteria for financial solution recommendations.

31. The apparatus of claim 30, wherein the module is further configured to provide, via the user interface associated with the computing device, in real-time or near-real time to receiving an input, the best-fit financial solution recommendation, including notation that alerts the customer that the best-fit financial solution recommendation may conflict with one or more received inputs.

32. A computer program product, comprising:

a non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising;

a first set of codes for causing a computer to receive a plurality of inputs that each defines criteria for recommending financial solutions;

a second set of codes for causing a computer to determine, each time one or more of the inputs is received, one or more financial solution recommendations based on current inputs received; and

a third set of codes for causing a computer to provide, in real-time or near-real time to receiving an input, the one or more financial solution recommendations.

The computer program product of claim 32, wherein the first set of codes is further configured to cause the computer to receive the plurality of inputs, wherein each of the inputs define at least one of a customer financial behavior, a customer financial attitude, a customer life event, a customer life interest, customer personal data or customer financial portfolio data.

34. The computer program product of claim 32, wherein the first set of codes is further configured to cause the computer to receive, in a non-linear order, the plurality of inputs.

35. The computer program product of claim 32, wherein the first set of codes is further configured to cause the computer to receive, in the non-linear order, the plurality of inputs, wherein the non-linear order of the inputs is based on the customer'"'"'s financial solution recommendation needs.

36. The computer program product of claim 32, wherein the first set of codes is further configured to cause the computer to receive the plurality of inputs, wherein one or more of the inputs are based on one or more queries posed to the customer.

37. The computer program product of claim 32, wherein the first set of codes is further configured to cause the computer to receive the plurality of inputs, wherein one or more of the inputs are derived from stored customer data, wherein the customer data includes one or more of profile data, account data, or transaction data.

38. The computer program product of claim 32, wherein the first set of codes is further configured to cause the computer to receive the plurality of inputs, wherein one or more of the inputs are based on one or more queries posed to the customer and one or more inputs are derived from stored customer data, wherein the customer data includes one or more of profile data, account data, or transaction data.

39. The computer program product of claim 32, wherein the second set of codes is further configured to cause the computer to determine, each time one of the inputs is received, one or more financial solution recommendations, wherein the financial solution recommendations include at least one of a financial product, a financial service or an offer related to a financial product or a financial service.

40. The computer program product of claim 32, further comprising a fourth set of codes for causing a computer to receive one or more financial solution-customization inputs based on the one or more financial solution recommendations provided in the user interface.

41. The computer program product of claim 40, wherein the fourth set of codes is further configured to cause the computer to receive the one or more financial solution-customization inputs that provide for comparing, on the user interface, one or more customized financial solutions to the one or more financial solution recommendations that are provided in the user interface.

42. The computer program product of claim 40, further comprising a fifth set of codes for causing a computer to provide, in real-time or near-real time to receiving a solution-customization input, a notation configured to alert the customer if the financial solution-customization input conflicts with a previous input.

43. The computer program product of claim 32, wherein the third set of codes is further configured to cause the computer to provide access to one or more networked multi-media demonstrations, each demonstration related to one or more of the financial solution recommendations that are provided.

44. The computer program product of claim 32, wherein the third set of codes is further configured to cause the computer to provide access to one or more networked tutorials, each tutorial related to one or more of the financial solution recommendations that are provided.

45. The computer program product of claim 32, further comprising:

a fourth set of codes for causing a computer to receive a second input that selects financial solutions for comparison; and

a fifth set of codes for causing a computer to provide, in real-time or near-time to receiving the financial solution input, the selected financial solutions for comparison to the financial solution recommendations.

46. The computer program product of claim 32, wherein the second set of codes is further configured to cause the computer to determine a best-fit financial solution recommendation based on two or more received inputs defining conflicting criteria for financial solution recommendations.

47. The computer program product of claim 46, wherein the third set of codes is further configured to cause the computer to provide, via the user interface associated with the computing device, in real-time or near-real time to receiving an input, the best-fit financial solution recommendation, including notation that alerts the customer that the best-fit financial solution recommendation may conflict with one or more received inputs.
