Abstract

A website hosting service provides a plurality of services to each of a plurality of unrelated websites, each of the plurality of services being adapted to contribute to a distinct service package for at least a plurality of unrelated websites, at least one of the plurality of services serving a third party interface that allows access to a third party service in the distinct service package.

Claims

1. A method of website hosting, comprising:

serving a plurality of website hosting services, at least two of the plurality of website hosting services served from different servers;

adapting one or more of the plurality of website hosting services to meet a website service requirement;

combining the one or more adapted website hosting services to provide a service package, at least one of the plurality of website hosting services serving a third party interface that allows access to a third party service in the service package; and

serving a plurality of different service packages to at least a plurality of unrelated websites.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein the third party service is accessible in the distinct service package consistent with a market-specific service offering.

3. The method of claim 1, wherein the third party service is offered as a component of the service package.

4. The method of claim 1, wherein the third party service is accessible through a software API.

5. The method of claim 1, wherein the third party service is accessible through a software plug-in.

6. The method of claim 1, wherein the third party service is accessible through a link to a third-party service.

7. The method of claim 6, wherein the link is a URL to a third-party website.

8. The method of claim 6, wherein the link is a customized link that activates a third-party service.

9. The method of claim 8, wherein the link is customized with market-specific service offering information.

10. The method of claim 1, wherein the third party interface comprises one of an API, a plug-in, a web service, and a URL redirector.

11. The method of claim 1, wherein the third party service may be presented to a first web site hosting client with a look and feel that is distinct from a look and feel of the third party service presented to a second website hosting client.
