Abstract

A website hosting architecture provides a plurality of services, from a plurality of service pools, to each of a plurality of unaffiliated websites, each of the plurality of service pools being adapted to provide services that are adapted to be combined into different packages to be delivered to at least a plurality of the unaffiliated websites.

Claims

1. A method of website hosting, comprising:

serving a plurality of website hosting services from a plurality of service pools; and

adapting a website hosting service from at least two of the plurality of service pools to meet website service requirements of a plurality of unrelated websites.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein a service pool comprises a plurality of servers each configured to serve the same website hosting service.

3. The method of claim 1, further comprising combining the adapted website hosting service from the at least two of the plurality of service pools to provide a plurality of different service packages for the plurality of unrelated websites.

4. The method of claim 1, wherein the plurality of service pools comprises a cloud computing based server architecture.

5. The method of claim 1, wherein the plurality of service pools comprises a grid computing based server architecture.
