1. A battery pack housing comprising:

  • an upper frame member having a first major surface and an opposite second major surface, whereinthe first major surface comprises coupling parts which mount a protection circuit module, andthe opposite second major surface comprises semi-cylindrical battery receiving parts, wherein adjacent semi-cylindrical battery receiving parts of the upper frame member define a first opening between the adjacent semi-cylindrical battery receiving parts of the upper frame member;

    a lower frame member, the lower frame member having a major surface comprising semi-cylindrical battery receiving parts, wherein adjacent semi-cylindrical battery receiving parts of the lower frame member define a second opening between the adjacent semi-cylindrical battery receiving parts of the lower frame member; and

    a spacer interposed between the upper frame member and the lower frame member, the spacer comprisingsemi-cylindrical battery receiving parts,wherein adjacent and coplanar semi-cylindrical battery receiving parts of the spacer are in fluid communication through a third opening between the adjacent and coplanar semi-cylindrical battery receiving parts of the spacer,wherein each semi-cylindrical battery receiving part of the spacer is in fluid communication with an opposite semi-cylindrical battery receiving part of the spacer through a fourth opening, andeach semi-cylindrical battery receiving parts of the spacer comprises a cover disposed at upper and lower ends thereof, each cover having a semi-cylindrical surface,vertical through-channels,each vertical through-channel defined by four adjacent battery receiving parts, two of the adjacent battery receiving parts being on a first plane and two of the adjacent battery receiving parts being on an opposite second plane, andwherein each vertical through-channel is in fluid communication with the semi-cylindrical battery receiving parts defining the vertical through channel through a fifth opening.
