Abstract

Disclosed is an apparatus for securing a media or audio player to a support and the related methods of use.

Claims

1. A method of accompanying a musical instrument comprising the steps of:

obtaining a media/audio player;

obtaining an apparatus and at least one securing means;

obtaining a support;

attaching the apparatus to said support;

positioning the securing means on said apparatus according to the size and dimensions of said player;

placing said player within the positioned securing means;

moving said apparatus and player within the operable reach of an instrument-playing musician; and

,

operating the player.

2. The method of claim 1 wherein the apparatus resembles a cymbal, and said support is a structure of a drum kit.

3. The method of claim 1 wherein the step of positioning the securing means on said apparatus according to the size and dimensions of said player is facilitated via an adhering means.

4. An apparatus for supporting a media/audio player, said apparatus comprising:

a base, configured for attachment to a support;

a support platform; and

a securing means.

5. The apparatus of claim 4 further comprising a means for adhering said securing means to said support platform.

6. The apparatus of claim 4 wherein said securing means are positioned on said support platform according to the size and dimensions of said player.

7. The apparatus of claim 6 further comprising a means for adhering said securing means to said support platform.

8. The apparatus of claim 4 wherein said securing means are affixed on said support platform according to the size and dimensions of said player.

9. The apparatus of claim 4 wherein the base is configured for attachment to a support of a musical instrument structure.

10. The apparatus of claim 9 wherein the apparatus resembles a cymbal, and said support is a structure of a drum kit.

11. The apparatus of claim 8 wherein the base is configured for attachment to a support.

12. The apparatus of claim 11 wherein the apparatus resembles a cymbal, and said support is a structure of a drum kit.

13. The apparatus of claim 4 wherein the securing means are defined by a plurality of support structures.

14. The apparatus of claim 5 wherein the securing means are defined by a plurality of support structures.

15. A method of setting-up a support platform comprising the steps of:

obtaining an apparatus featuring the support platform;

obtaining securing means;

obtaining a support;

attaching the apparatus to said support;

manipulating the securing means according to the size and dimensions of a media/audio player; and

moving said apparatus to within the operable reach of an instrument-playing musician.

16. The method of claim 15 wherein the support platform resembles a cymbal, and said support is a structure of a drum kit.

17. The method of claim 15 wherein the step of manipulating, on said support platform, the securing means to the size and dimensions of said player is accomplished via an adhering means.

18. The apparatus of claim 15 wherein the securing means are defined by a plurality of support structures.

19. The apparatus of claim 16 wherein the securing means are defined by a plurality of support structures.

20. The apparatus of claim 17 wherein the securing means are defined by a plurality of support structures.
