Abstract

A position of one or more video cameras is determined. The position of one or more video cameras is communicated with a video communication application. A position of one or more video windows is controlled from the position of one or more video cameras, where controlling the position of one or more video windows further involves one or more video windows being positioned at a position closest to one or more video cameras.

Claims

1. A method comprising:

determining a position of one or more video cameras;

communicating the position of one or more video cameras with a video communication application; and

controlling a position of one or more video windows from the position of one or more video cameras;

wherein controlling the position of one or more video windows further includes positioning one or more video windows at a position closest to one or more video cameras.

2. The method of claim 1 further comprising determining a position of one or more audio speakers and communicating the position of one or more audio speakers with the video communication application.

3. The method of claim 2 further comprising rebalancing an audio speaker setting of the video communication application based on the position of one or more video windows.

4. The method of claim 2 wherein the position of one or more video cameras and one or more audio speakers may be determined by at least one setting from the group of consisting of manufacturer settings, user settings, and one or more sensors.

5. A computer readable medium comprising:

a video communication application;

wherein the video communication application determines a position of one or more video cameras;

further wherein the video communication application controls a position of one or more video windows from the position of one or more video cameras; and

one or more video camera position data;

wherein each video camera position data is determined by one or more video camera positions.

6. The computer readable medium of claim 5 further comprising a routine to determine whether the computer readable medium stores one or more audio speaker position data and a rebalanced audio speaker setting.

7. The computer readable medium of claim 5 wherein one or more video camera position data may be determined by executing a routine to determine whether the computer readable medium stores a pre-existing manufacturer setting.

8. The computer readable medium of claim 7 further comprising a routine to prompt an option of overwriting of the pre-existing manufacturing setting with a setting created from a map of the display.

9. The computer readable medium of claim 5 further comprising a routine to utilize one or more sensors to determine the video camera position data, wherein one or more sensors may emit and receive one or more signals periodically or upon instruction.

10. A system for positioning one or more video windows comprising:

one or more video cameras;

a means for determining a position of one or more video cameras;

wherein each video window position is determined by a video camera position data;

a video communication application;

wherein the video communication application creates a video window position;

a means for determining if a video window position is available; and

a means for moving one or more video windows.

11. The system of claim 10 further comprising:

one or more audio speakers;

a means for determining the position of one or more audio speakers; and

a means for rebalancing an audio speaker setting;

wherein rebalancing the audio speaker setting is based on the video window position.

12. The system for positioning one or more video windows of claim 11 wherein the audio speaker position may be determined by a pre-existing manufacturer setting, a user defined setting, or one or more sensors, wherein one or more sensors may emit and receive one or more signals periodically or upon instruction.

13. The system for positioning one or more video windows of claim 10 wherein the video window position may be determined to be available if no other video window or application is currently positioned in the area and if the size of the video window will fit in the available area.

14. The system for positioning one or more video windows of claim 13, wherein the video communication application may place the video window at a next closest available position if the video window position is determined to be unavailable, wherein the next closest available position is the shortest distance away from the position indicated by the video camera position data.

15. The system for positioning one or more video windows of claim 10 wherein the video camera position data may be determined by one or more video cameras periodically emitting signals automatically or upon user defined instruction.
