A total security system for a computer which permits a user to render the entire computer'"'"'s contents beyond access by any third party. A security program grants a user access to the directory of files stored on the computer. The security program is capable of selectively corrupting the directory of files with the capability also to selectively restore the directory of files to its original condition.
