Abstract

An object is to provide a novel heterocyclic compound which can be used for a light-emitting element, as a host material of a light-emitting layer in which a light-emitting substance is dispersed. Other objects are to provide a light-emitting element having low driving voltage, a light-emitting element having high current efficiency, and a light-emitting element having a long lifetime. Provided are a light-emitting element including a compound in which a dibenzo[f,h]quinoxaline ring and a hole-transport skeleton are bonded through an arylene group, and a light-emitting device, an electronic device, and a lighting device each using this light-emitting element. The heterocyclic compound represented by General Formula (G1) below is provided.

Claims

1. A heterocyclic compound including a dibenzo[f,h]quinoxaline ring and a hole-transport skeleton which are bonded to each other through an arylene group.

2. The heterocyclic compound according to claim 1, wherein the hole-transport skeleton is a π

-electron rich heteroaromatic ring.

3. The heterocyclic compound according to claim 2, wherein the π

-electron rich heteroaromatic ring is a carbazole ring, a dibenzofuran ring, or a dibenzothiophene ring.

4. The heterocyclic compound according to claim 1, wherein the arylene group has one or more substituents.

5. The heterocyclic compound according to claim 4, wherein the substituents are bonded to form a ring.

6. The heterocyclic compound according to claim 1, wherein the arylene group is any of a substituted or unsubstituted phenylene group, a substituted or unsubstituted biphenyldiyl group, and a substituted or unsubstituted m-phenylene group.

7. The heterocyclic compound according to claim 1,

the heterocyclic compound is represented by General Formula (G1);

8. The heterocyclic compound according to claim 7, wherein the arylene group has one or more substituents.

9. The heterocyclic compound according to claim 8, wherein the substituents are bonded to form a ring.

10. The heterocyclic compound according to claim 7, wherein Ar is any of a substituted or unsubstituted phenylene group, a substituted or unsubstituted biphenyldiyl group, and a substituted or unsubstituted m-phenylene group.

11. The heterocyclic compound according to claim 7,

the heterocyclic compound is represented by General Formula (G2-1),

12. The heterocyclic compound according to claim 11, wherein the arylene group has one of more substituents.

13. The heterocyclic compound according to claim 12, wherein the substituents are bonded to form a ring.

14. The heterocyclic compound according to claim 11, wherein Ar is any of a substituted or unsubstituted phenylene group, a substituted or unsubstituted biphenyldiyl group, and a substituted or unsubstituted m-phenylene group.

15. The heterocyclic compound according to claim 11,

20. The heterocyclic compound according to claim 17, wherein Ar is any of a substituted or unsubstituted phenylene group, a substituted or unsubstituted biphenyldiyl group, and a substituted or unsubstituted m-phenylene group.

21. The heterocyclic compound according to claim 17,

22. The heterocyclic compound according to claim 21, wherein R⁴² and R⁴³ are bonded to R⁴³ and R⁴⁴ respectively to form a ring.

23. A light-emitting element comprising a compound including a dibenzo[f,h]quinoxaline ring and a hole-transport skeleton which are bonded to each other through an arylene group.

24. The light-emitting element according to claim 23, wherein the hole-transport skeleton is a π

-electron rich heteroaromatic ring.

25. The light-emitting element according to claim 24, wherein the π

-electron rich heteroaromatic ring is a carbazole ring, a dibenzofuran ring, or a dibenzothiophene ring.

26. The light-emitting element according to claim 23, wherein the arylene group has one or more substituents.

27. The light-emitting element according to claim 26, wherein the substituents are bonded to form a ring.

28. The light-emitting element according to claim 23, wherein the arylene group is any of a substituted or unsubstituted phenylene group, a substituted or unsubstituted biphenyldiyl group, and a substituted or unsubstituted m-phenylene group.

29. A light-emitting device comprising the light-emitting element according to claim 23.

30. An electronic device comprising the light-emitting device according to claim 29.

31. A lighting device comprising the light-emitting device according to claim 29.

32. A light-emitting element comprising a light-emitting material and a compound including a dibenzo[f,h]quinoxaline ring and a hole-transport skeleton which are bonded to each other through an arylene group.

33. The light-emitting element according to claim 32, wherein the hole-transport skeleton is a π

-electron rich heteroaromatic ring.

34. The light-emitting element according to claim 33, wherein the π

-electron rich heteroaromatic ring is a carbazole ring, a dibenzofuran ring, or a dibenzothiophene ring.

35. The light-emitting element according to claim 32, wherein the arylene group has one or more substituents.

36. The light-emitting element according to claim 35, wherein the substituents are bonded to form a ring.

37. The light-emitting element according to claim 32, wherein the arylene group is any of a substituted or unsubstituted phenylene group, a substituted or unsubstituted biphenyldiyl group, and a substituted or unsubstituted m-phenylene group.

38. A light-emitting device comprising the light-emitting element according to claim 32.

39. An electronic device comprising the light-emitting device according to claim 38.

40. A lighting device comprising the light-emitting device according to claim claim 38.
