Abstract

Any arrangement of URLv identity syntax can now be used in a repository, once its second.top domain is known to have an identity syntax. The repository can extract, select, store, organize, prioritize, and consolidate URLvs of differing identity syntaxes. The correlation and association among different contact entities'"'"' containing the same individual'"'"'s identities can yield accurate same individual'"'"'s identity and URLvs. These increase the competition of the Internet by enabling users to transport their data easily to websites allowing for individuals'"'"' data-transport.

Claims

1. A method of identifying the identity syntax of a URLv by:

providing a repository comprising a plurality of URLvs;

extracting second.top domains of an inputted URLv of the plurality of URLvs;

determining a guessed identity syntax of the inputted URLv;

sharing the guessed identity syntax with other repositories, which also determined the guessed identity syntax of the inputted URLv;

calculating a number based on cumulative sharing; and

setting the guessed identity syntax as a known identity syntax when the number passes a threshold.

2. The method of claim 1 further comprising:

determining the guessed identity syntax of the inputted URLv and an associated weight for this guess; and

sharing the guessed identity syntax of the inputted URLv and the associated weight with other repositories, which also determined the guessed identity syntax of the inputted URLv.

4. A method for determining the multiple URLv identities of an individual using the steps of:

creating multiple repositories for storing individuals'"'"' URLvs comprising multiple URLvs;

correlating the multiple URLvs in repositories to determine common URLvs with differing second.top domain names; and

setting a threshold where the results of the correlation when exceeded becomes a known associated URLv to the individual,

whereby an individual'"'"'s associated URLvs can be found through multiple repositories that accept these URLvs.
