Abstract

The present invention provides a keypad of an electronic apparatus for removing language variances through transfer from a physical keypad to a virtual keypad, and an electronic apparatus having such a keypad The keypad of the electronic apparatus comprises a display section and a keying section, of which the display section displays a specific language part, and the keying section includes a plurality of keys, at least one of which is operable corresponding to the specific language part The plurality of keys have their own marks including a numeral part, a basic language part and other control key part

Claims

1. A keypad for an electronic apparatus, the keypad having a display section and a keying section, wherein

the display section displays a specific language part;

and

the keying section includes a plurality of keys, at least one of which is operable corresponding to the specific language part.

2. The keypad for an electronic apparatus according to claim 1, characterized in that:

the plurality of keys have their own marks including a numeral part, a basic language part and other control key part.

3. The keypad for an electronic apparatus according to claim 2, characterized in that:

the numeral part is an Arabic numeral part; and

the basic language part is a Latin alphabet part.

4. The keypad for an electronic apparatus according to claim 2, characterized in that:

the display section further displays display section numeral parts corresponding to the numeral parts on the plurality of keys.

5. The keypad for an electronic apparatus according to claim 1, characterized in that:

the specific language part includes local linguistic alphabets and/or local linguistic strokes of a user.

6. The keypad for an electronic apparatus according to claim 1, characterized in that:

the display section corresponds to the keying section, and is distributed in a rectangular region.

7. The keypad for an electronic apparatus according to any one of claims 1-6, characterized in that:

the electronic apparatus is a mobile phone or a PDA.

8. The keypad for an electronic apparatus according to any one of claims 1-6, characterized in that:

the display section can be invoked when the user desires to input the language of the specific language part.

9. The keypad for an electronic apparatus according to any one of claims 1-6, characterized in that:

when invoked, the display section is displayed on a display screen of the electronic apparatus, or displayed on other display means associated with the electronic apparatus.

10. The keypad for an electronic apparatus according to claim 9, characterized in that:

the display screen, which displays the display section, of the electronic apparatus can be a separate display screen independent of a display screen that displays compiled content of the keypad.

11. An electronic apparatus comprising the keypad according to any one of claims 1-6.

12. The electronic apparatus according to claim 11, further comprising:

a selection section, a reception section, a calculation section, a storage section, and a display control section.

13. The electronic apparatus according to claim 12, wherein

the selection section selects a corresponding language to be displayed by the display section in accordance with a command of the user;

the reception section receives operational information with which the user compiles the corresponding language;

the calculation section calculates content in the display section to which the operation of the user corresponds in accordance with the operational information;

the storage section stores corresponding rules between the operation of the user and the content in the display section as well as language content being compiled; and

the display control section displays the language content in accordance with the calculation result of the calculation section.

14. The electronic apparatus according to claim 11, wherein the electronic apparatus is a mobile phone or a PDA.

15. The electronic apparatus according to claim 11, wherein

the display section can be invoked when the user desires to input the language of the specific language part.

16. The electronic apparatus according to claim 11, wherein

when invoked, the display section is displayed on a display screen of the electronic apparatus, or displayed on other display means associated with the electronic apparatus.

17. A method for removing linguistic differences from a keypad for an electronic apparatus, comprising steps of:

producing a keying section having a plurality of keys;

integrating components for generating display on a display section to an operating system of the electronic apparatus, the display section displaying alphabets and/or strokes of a specific language; and

invoking the display section, and using at least one key of the plurality of keys to operate, so as to input the specific language.

18. The method according to claim 17, wherein the specific language includes a local language of a user different from languages marked on the keying section.

19. The method according to claim 17, wherein the step of inputting the specific language comprises:

a step of receiving information with which the user operates the at least one key;

a step of calculating content in the display section to which operation of the user corresponds in accordance with the information; and

a step of displaying compiled content in accordance with the calculation result.

20. The method according to any one of claims 17-19, wherein the electronic apparatus is a mobile phone or a PDA.
