10. A method of stabilizing a liquid washing, cleaning, post-treatment, or auxiliary washing agent comprising:
-
a) 2 to 60% by weight, based on the total weight of the agent, of a surfactant selected from the group consisting of anionic, nonionic, cationic, and zwitterionic surface-active agents and mixtures thereof, b) at least one of elemental silver and a silver compound, said method comprising the steps of; (1) forming said agent by combining (a) and (b); and (2) adding from 0.01 to 10% by weight non-neutralized fatty acid to said agent, said weight percentage of non-neutralized fatty acid based on the total weight of the agent, wherein the ratio of non-neutralized fatty acid to silver is 8;
1 or greater.
