Abstract
In a captured image outputting system, an image shot by an image capturing device is, upon shooting the image thereby, instantaneously transmitted to a display control device of a display system via wireless communication. The display system instantaneously projects the received image on a projection screen. The display system is comprised of a display device and a display control device. A liquid crystal projector may serve as the display device whereas an optional device, for use in wireless communication, connected to image input terminals of the liquid crystal projector may serve as the display control device. A digital still camera may serve as the image capturing device capable of carrying out wireless communication.

an image capturing device which captures an image of an object and transmits the captured image via wireless communication; and a plurality of display systems which receive via wireless communication the image transmitted from said image capturing device and display the received image, wherein, prior to reception of the image, at least one of said image capturing device and said display system detects information on connection status of wireless communication between said image capturing device and said display system, and displays the information on connection status almost simultaneously on both a display unit built in the image capturing device and the display system; and prior to transmission of the image, said image capturing device recognizes a plurality of display systems as transmission destinations to which a captured image is to be transmitted, displays the plurality of candidate transmission destinations thus recognized on a display unit built in the image capturing device, selects any of the candidates according to a user'"'"'s instruction for selection, and transmits the captured image, upon the capturing of the image, to the thus selected display system or display systems via wireless communication.

an image capturing control unit which captures an image of an object; a display unit which displays the captured image; and a transfer processing unit which transmits the captured image to at least one of a plurality of display systems via wireless communication, wherein, prior to transmission of the image, the display unit displays information on connection status of wireless communication between said image capturing device and said plurality of display systems almost simultaneously on both the display unit and the plurality of display systems; and prior to transmission of the image, the transfer processing unit recognizes the plurality of display systems as transmission destinations to which a captured image is to be transmitted, displays the plurality of candidate display systems thus recognized on the display unit, selects any of the candidates according to a user'"'"'s instruction for selection, and transmits the captured image, upon the capturing of the image, to the thus selected display system or display systems.

a communication unit which receives a captured image from at least one of a plurality of image capturing devices via wireless communication; an object setting unit which sets the received image as an object of display; and a reproduction control unit which controls an output of the image set as an object of display, wherein, prior to reception of the image, the display system displays information on connection status of wireless communication between said display system and said plurality of image capturing devices almost simultaneously on both the display system and display units built in the plurality of image capturing devices; and prior to reception of the image, the object setting unit recognizes the plurality of image capturing devices capable of carrying out wireless communication as transmission sources, displays the plurality of candidate transmission sources thus recognized, selects any of the candidates according to a user'"'"'s instruction for selection, and receives the image, upon the capturing of the image, from the selected image capturing device via wireless communication.
