- said emergency service call being connected with an emergency service answering entity in an emergency service network employing a locating unit for ascertaining a geographic origin for said emergency service call;
the method comprising;
(a) presenting a query signal from said emergency service answering entity during said emergency service call soliciting a responsive signal from said locating unit relating to said geographic origin;
(b) if said query signal relating to said geographic origin is received by said locating unit, considering that said emergency service call is not terminated; and
(c) if no said query signal relating to said geographic origin is received by said locating unit, considering that said emergency service call is terminated.
