1. A process to edit video, comprising:
- receiving a source video on a handheld device, a tablet or a mobile phone;
generating a plurality of video or audio edit instructions to be applied to the source video;
assigning the tasks to a plurality of low power processor cores to process the video editing instructions in parallel on the processing cores and reduce power to the cores when not editing video; and
rendering video outputs.

19. A system, comprising:
-
a plurality of low power processing cores; a graphics processing unit (GPU) coupled to the plurality of the low power processing cores; and code executable by the processor cores and the GPU to receive a source video;
process the source video; and
render a video output, wherein the code assigns the instructions to a plurality of low power processor cores to process the video editing instructions in parallel on the processing cores and reduce power to the cores when not editing video.
