1. A surgical system including an implant for supporting pelvic anatomy, the implant comprising:

  • a first suspending member formed as a flexible strip that extends from a proximal end to a distal end, the distal end including a first anchor portion for anchoring to soft tissue in a space defined by a pelvis;

    a second suspending member formed as a flexible strip that extends from a proximal end to a distal end, the distal end including a second anchor portion for anchoring to soft tissue in a space defined by a pelvis; and

    a support portion formed as a flexible strip that extends from a first end to a second end, the support portion having a first opening toward the first end of the support portion, the first opening slidably receiving the proximal end of the first suspending member such that a length of the first suspending member between the first anchor portion and the first end of the support portion is adjustable.
