1. A brake control system comprising:

  • an input member configured to move forward or backward according an operation of a brake pedal;

    a piston disposed so as to be movable relative to the input member;

    an actuator configured to cause a forward or backward movement of the piston; and

    a control unit configured to drive actuator to operate according to a movement of the input member by the brake pedal to generate a thrust force to the piston to generate a brake fluid pressure in a master cylinder,the control unit comprisinga relative displacement controller configured to set a target relative displacement with respect to a relative displacement between the input member and the piston based on an operation amount of the brake pedal, and control an operation of the actuator so that the relative displacement between the input member and the piston reaches the target relative displacement;

    a fluid pressure controller configured to set a target fluid pressure with respect to a brake fluid pressure in the master cylinder based on the operation amount of the brake pedal, and control the operation of the actuator so that the brake fluid pressure in the master cylinder reaches the target fluid pressure; and

    a control switch unit configured to switch which is used to control the operation of the actuator, the relative displacement controller or the fluid pressure controller.
