1. A method for determining whether a networked system migration is successful comprising:

  • determining a first set of properties of the networked system on a source platform in a first administrative domain;

    transferring the networked system to a destination platform in a second administrative domain such that at least a portion of the networked system is transferred to at least one storage medium on the destination platform;

    determining a second set of properties of the transferred system on the destination platform, wherein the first and second sets of properties include functional properties and at least one of;

    performance properties, security properties or reliability properties; and

    outputting an indication that the transfer of the system to the destination platform is successful in response to determining that the functional properties of the second set are equivalent to the functional properties of the first set and that at least one of the performance properties, the security properties or the reliability properties of the second set are equivalent to at least one of the corresponding performance properties, the security properties or the reliability properties of the first set of properties.
