APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR INDICATING UPLINK RESOURCE ALLOCATION IN BROADBAND WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
First Claim
1. An operating method of a terminal for transmitting data according to resource allocation in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
- decoding an UpLink (UL) resource allocation Information Element (IE) in a received DownLink (DL) subframe;
extracting an indicator field value from the decoded UL resource allocation IE,the indicator field value indicating a Transmission Time Interval (TTI) type for a resource allocated to the terminal and a UL subframe location; and
transmitting UL data through a resource allocated to the terminal based on the extracted indicator field value.

Abstract
An apparatus and a method for indicating uplink resource allocation in a broadband wireless communication system are provided. The method includes decoding an UpLink (UL) resource allocation Information Element (IE) in a received DownLink (DL) subframe, extracting an indicator field value from the decoded UL resource allocation IE, the indicator field value indicating a Transmission Time Interval (TTI) type for a resource allocated to the terminal and a UL subframe location, and transmitting UL data through a resource allocated to the terminal based on the extracted indicator field value.
