Abstract

A method for preventing children from being left in a car and a device thereof. The method comprises testing a <starting signal>, a <trip ending signal> and driver judges if have children, send these information to a controlling device, if have children in car then the controlling device sends a action order to preventing device to take action to prevent the children being left in the car. A driver alarm for preventing children from being left in a car includes a power device, car startup measuring device, inquiring device, trip ending measuring device, preventing device and controlling device.

Claims

1. A method for children from being left inside of a car comprising following steps:

tests a <

starting signal>

from a car being started up or will be started up, sends the starting signal to a controlling device;

after receiving the <

starting signal>

the controlling device issues an <

if have children in car>

to a inquiring device to ask a driver;

the driver answers the <

if have children in car>

by making a response to a inquiring device, the answer is;

<

yes>

have children in the car, or

<

no>

—

no children in the car, or

<

no response>

—

acquiescence having children in the car,

the answer will be store in the controlling device;

tests a <

trip ending signal>

from the car, sends the <

trip ending signal>

to the controlling device;

the controlling device issues a <

instruction to a preventing device for preventing children from being left inside of the car if has <

yes>

answer or <

no response>

answer from the driver is stored in and receive <

trip ending signal>

the preventing device take action to prevent children from being left inside of the car;

after the risk of children leaving in car singly is released, the method is stopped by the driver.

2. The method for children from being left inside of a car of claim 1, wherein the action to prevent children from being left inside of the car includes audio warning, visual warning, verbal warning, and different preventing actions including lock the car doors, open the car doors and their combination.

The method for children from being left inside of a car of claim 1, wherein the starting signal includes car starting voltage changing, car starting current changing, car starting velocity changing, car starting magnetic field changing, car starting temperature changing, opening of car doors or windows, fixing child seat on the car chair, and driver or passenger seeing of children in the car.

4. The method for children from being left inside of a car of claim 1, wherein the inquiring device is a set of push-button including two push-buttons, one is YES push-button (having children), another is no push-button (no children).

5. The method for children from being left inside of a car of claim 1, wherein the trip ending signal includes engine stop run, lock car, opening of car doors, and driver see passenger leaving the car.

The method for children from being left inside of a car of claim 1, wherein the preventing device is a electric speaker issuing a warning relating to children in the car or is a car door locker controlled by the controlling device or is a connector for children seat on the car chair controlled by the controlling device.

7. A driver alarm for preventing children from being left inside of a car includes:

a power device for providing electrical power to the driver alarm;

a car startup measuring device for measuring the car being started up by measuring car starting current changing, car starting velocity changing, opening of car doors or windows, fixing child seat on the car chair;

a inquiring device for asking driver if having children in car and receiving driver'"'"'s answer for this question;

a trip ending measuring device for measuring the car being stopped by measuring engine stop run, opening of car doors or windows;

an preventing device for taking action to prevent children from being left inside of the car according to an order from a controlling device;

a controlling device for communicating with and controlling the car startup measuring device, inquiring device and action device;

the car startup measuring device adopts a <

starting signal> and

sends it to the controlling device, the controlling device issues an <

if have children in car>

question to the inquiring device, the driver make response to the inquiring device;

The driver alarm of claim 7, wherein the car startup measuring device is a sensor for testing car starting voltage changing, or a sensor for testing car starting current changing, or a sensor for testing car starting velocity changing, or a sensor for testing opening of car doors or windows, or s sensor for testing child seat fixed on the car chair, or the driver or passenger seeing of children in the car.

9. The driver alarm of claim 7, wherein the inquiring device is a set of push-button including two push-buttons, one is YES push-button (having children), another is NO push-button (no children).

10. The driver alarm of claim 7, wherein the inquiring device is a voice transmitter.

11. The driver alarm of claim 7, wherein the trip ending measuring device is a sensor to test the engine stop run, or a sensor to test the hand breaking, or a sensor to test the car door opening.

The driver alarm of claim 7, wherein the preventing device is controlled by the controlling device including audio warning device, visual warning device, verbal warning device, and combination thereof and different preventing action devices including lock for closing car doors, lock for opening car doors and combination thereof.

13. The driver alarm of claim 7, wherein the controlling device is a integrated circuit.

14. A driver alarm for preventing children from being left inside of a car by inserted into a socket of a cigarette-lighter in car includes:

a power device for providing electrical power to the driver alarm;

a voltage measuring device for measuring voltage change of a cigarette-lighter in the car and reporting the voltage change to a controlling device, rising of the voltage change indicating the car being started up, declining indicating the car engine being turned off;

the controlling device for controlling a prompting device to issue a warning relating to children in the car when rising or declining of the voltage change of the cigarette-lighter;

the prompting device for issuing a warning relating to children in the car.

15. The driver alarm of claim 14, wherein further includes:

an inputting device for deepening driver'"'"'s impression whether any children is inside of the car or not and reporting it to the controlling device

16. The driver alarm of claim 14, wherein the working program is:

when the car starts up and the voltage of cigarette-lighter rises, the measuring device reports rising of the voltage of cigarette-lighter to the controlling device, which sends warning instruction to the promoting device to issue warning relating to children in the car;

when the car engine is tuned off and the voltage of cigarette-lighter declines, the measuring device reports declining of the voltage of cigarette-lighter to the controlling device, which sends warning instruction to the promoting device to issue warning relating to children in the car.

17. The driver alarm of claim 15, wherein the working program is:

when the car starts up and the voltage of cigarette-lighter rises, the measuring device reports rising of the voltage of cigarette-lighter to the controlling device, which sends a query instruction to the inputting device, as well as a prompting instruction to the prompting device to ask the driver for an answer;

the inputting device reports driver'"'"'s answer to the controlling device, the controlling device sends a warning instruction to the promoting device to issue a warning relating to children in the car if the driver'"'"'s answer is “

Yes”

(having children);

when the car engine stops up and the voltage of cigarette-lighter declines, the measuring device reports declining of the voltage of cigarette-lighter to the controlling device, which sends a warning instruction to the promoting device to issue a warning relating to children in the car if the driver'"'"'s answer is “

Yes”

(having children).

18. The driver alarm of claim 14, wherein said power device has a plug, which can be inserted into a cigarette-lighter socket in a car, and the cigarette-lighter socket in the car becomes a power source of the driver alarm.

19. The driver alarm of claim 14, wherein the power device has a battery box, said power device becomes an independent electronic power source for said driver alarm by inserting batteries or rechargeable batteries into the battery box.

20. The driver alarm that of claim 14, wherein said prompting device has a power switch to cut off the power, and to stop the prompting device to work.

21. The driver alarm of claim 14, wherein said inputting device has two push-buttons, one is YES push-button (having children), another is NO push-button (no children).

22. The driver alarm that of claim 18, wherein a stop button can be added to said inputting device, if the driver push the stop button down, the prompting device stops giving out prompting sound.

23. The driver alarm that of claim 14 further has a power socket for supplying power to electric equipments in the car, during working time of said driver alarm, the power socket can be used as a power supplying apparatus for other electric equipments in the car too.
