1. A method comprising:
- recognizing a first input as a magnification gesture to initiate magnification of at least a portion of a user interface displayed by a display device of a computing device;
displaying the magnified portion in the user interface as at least partially encompassed by an unmagnified portion of the user interface;
recognizing a second input as specifying a modification to be made to data included in the magnified portion of the user interface, the second input recognized as occurring during provision of the first input; and
responsive to recognition that the first input is no longer being provided, ceasing the displaying of the magnified portion in the user interface.

Abstract
Computing device magnification gesture techniques are described. In implementations, a first input is recognized as a magnification gesture to initiate magnification of at least a portion of a user interface displayed by a display device of a computing device. The magnified portion is displayed in the user interface as at least partially encompassed by an unmagnified portion of the user interface. A second input is recognized as specifying a modification to be made to data included in the magnified portion of the user interface, the second input recognized as occurring during provision of the first input. Responsive to recognition that the first input is no longer being provided, the display of the magnified portion ceases in the user interface.
