Abstract

The invention relates to a device aboard an aircraft comprising output means (3) configured to restore information relating to the aircraft status from aircraft systems (7a-7c), the device including a module (5, 5a) providing interface between said output means (3) and said aircraft systems (7a-7c), said module (5, 5a) being configured to synthesise information from aircraft systems depending on predetermined behaviour rules and to transmit said information thus synthesised to said output means.

Claims

1. A device aboard an aircraft comprising output means (3) configured to restore information relating to the aircraft status from aircraft systems (7a-7c), and input means (17) configured to transmit control data to said aircraft systems (7a-7c),

characterised in that it includes a module (5, 5a) providing interface between the output (3) and input (17) means on the one hand, and said aircraft systems (7a-7c) on the other hand, said module (5, 5a) being configured to synthesise the information from the aircraft systems depending on predetermined behaviour rules and to transmit said information thus synthesised to said output means, said module being further configured to provide transmission of the control data from the input means (17) to the aircraft systems which are the most suitable for carrying out these controls.

2. The on-board device according to claim 1, characterised in that the module includes:

first quality control means (9a) for controlling the quality of information from the aircraft systems (7a-7c),

first processing means (11a) for correlating the information validated by the first quality control means (9a) in order to infer synthesised information using said predetermined behaviour rules, and

first transmitting means (13a) for transmitting said synthesised information to said output means (3).

The on-board device according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the aircraft systems include computing means (21a, 21b), sensors (23a, 23b), and actuators (25a, 25b), said computing means being adapted to compute said information relating to the aircraft status depending on measures provided by said sensors and/or to compute the aircraft controls depending on said control data from the input means (17) and to transmit them to the actuators in order to operate equipments and/or members of the aircraft.

The on-board device according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the input (17) and output (3) means consist of control means (31), restoring means (33), and warning means (35), the control means comprising an interactive portion common to a portion of said input and output means.

5. The on-board device according to any of the claims 2 to 4, characterised in that the first transmitting means (13a) are configured to distribute said synthesised information provided by said first processing means (11a) to said control (31), restoring (33) and warning (35) means.

6. The on-board device according to any of preceding claims, characterised in that:

the module (5) is configured to operatively synthesise information from the aircraft systems (7a-7c) according to the aircraft flight functions in order to form operational synthesised information,

said control means (31) are configured to receive from said module a portion of said operational synthesised information and/or to transmit to said module operational control data, and

said restoring means (33) are configured to receive from said module (5) another portion of said operational synthesised information.

7. The on-board device according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the restoring means (33) include viewing means and/or sound feedback means and/or force feedback means.

8. A device aboard an aircraft comprising input means (17) configured to transmit control data to aircraft systems,

characterised in that it includes a module (5, 5b) providing interface between said input means (17) and said aircraft systems (7a-7c), said module being configured to synthesise the control data from input means (17) depending on predetermined control rules and to transmit said control data thus synthesised to said aircraft systems (7a-7c).

9. The on-board device according to claim 8, characterised in that the module includes:

second quality control means (9b) for controlling the quality of control data from said input means (17),

second processing means (11b) for correlating the control data validated by the second quality control means (9b) in order to infer control data synthesised using said predetermined control rules, and

second transmitting means (13b) for transmitting each synthesised control data to the aircraft systems (7a-7c) which are the most suitable for carrying out this control.

10. A device aboard an aircraft including:

input means (17) configured to transmit control data to aircraft systems (7a-7c), and

output means (3) configured to restore information relating to the aircraft status from said aircraft systems (7a-7c),

characterised in that it includes a module (5) providing interface between said aircraft systems (7a-7c) on the one hand and said input (17) and output (3) means on the other hand, said module (5) being configured to synthesise information from the aircraft systems (7a-7c) depending on predetermined behaviour rules and to transmit said information thus synthesised to said output means (3), said module being further configured to synthesise the control data from the input means (17) depending on predetermined control rules and to transmit said control data thus synthesised to said aircraft systems (7a-7c).
