- determining, with an ignition sensor, an ignition status of a vehicle;
determining, with a motion sensor, a motion status of the vehicle;
determining a utilization of the vehicle, based at least in part on the ignition status and the motion status; and
transmitting status information to a location remote from the vehicle, the status information indicating at least one of the ignition status, the motion status, and the utilization.

The method further includes determining a utilization of the vehicle based, at least in part, on the ignition status and the motion status. Additionally, the method includes transmitting status information to a location remote from the vehicle. The status information indicates at least one of the ignition status, the motion status, and the utilization.
