1. A system for sequentially reorganizing signals received on a set of sensors, comprising:
- a plurality of sensors;
a sensor switch having a plurality of sensor ports, a control port and an output port, the sensor switch configured to switch the output port to one of the sensor ports, wherein the sensor port is in communication with a sensor;
a sequencer in communication with the control port, the sequencer configured to control the switching of the sensor switch;
a clock for clocking the sequencer, the clock suitable for pacing switching and acquisition times of the sequencer;
an acquisition card in communication with the output port of the sensor switch; and
a processing module in communication with the acquisition card.

6. A method for sequentially reorganizing signals received on a plurality of sensors, comprising the steps of:

repeating, for at least a predetermined portion of the plurality of sensors, the steps of; acquiring a first signal received by a predetermined sensor, to produce a first acquired signal of the predetermined sensor; storing the acquired signal, to produce a first stored signal of the predetermined sensor; and switching to another predetermined sensor of the predetermined portion of the plurality of sensors; performing, for a selected sensor of the predetermined portion of the plurality of sensors, the steps of; acquiring a second signal received by the selected sensor, to produce a second acquired signal of the selected sensor; and storing the second acquired signal, to produce a second stored signal of the selected sensor; comparing, for the selected sensor, the first acquired signal to the second acquired signal, to produce an existing switching error; applying the existing switching error as an error correction to each of the first stored signals; and correcting a phase error due to a switching time. - View Dependent Claims (7, 8, 9)
