Abstract

A power supply apparatus for supplying electric power wirelessly to a power receiving apparatus which charges a battery informs charging information indicating a charging state of the power receiving apparatus, if a position of the power receiving apparatus is changed to more than the predetermined value.

Claims

1. A power supply apparatus for supplying electric power wirelessly to a power receiving apparatus, the power supply apparatus comprising:

a detection unit that detects whether or not a position of the power receiving apparatus is changed to more than a predetermined value; and

a control unit that controls an informing unit to inform charging information indicating a charging state of the power receiving apparatus, if the position is changed to more than the predetermined value.

2. The power supply apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the informing unit informs the charging information by using one of character data, audio data, and an icon if the position is changed to more than the predetermined value.

3. The power supply apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the charging information is obtained from the power receiving apparatus.

4. A power supply apparatus for supplying electric power wirelessly to a first power receiving apparatus and a second power receiving apparatus, the power supply apparatus comprising:

a detection unit that detects whether or not a first position of the first power receiving apparatus is changed to more than a predetermined value, and detects whether or not a second position of the second power receiving apparatus is changed to more than the predetermined value; and

a control unit that controls an informing unit to inform first charging information indicating a charging state of the first power receiving apparatus if the first position is changed to more than the predetermined value and the second position is not changed to more than the predetermined value, wherein the control unit controls the informing unit to inform second charging information indicating a charging state of the second power receiving apparatus if the second position is changed to more than the predetermined value and the first position is not changed to more than the predetermined value.

The power supply apparatus according to claim 4, wherein the informing unit informs the first charging information by using one of character data, audio data, and an icon if the first position is changed to more than the predetermined value and the second position is not changed to more than the predetermined value.

The power supply apparatus according to claim 4, wherein the informing unit informs the second charging information by using one of character data, audio data, and an icon if the second position is changed to more than the predetermined value and the first position is not changed to more than the predetermined value.

The power supply apparatus according to claim 4, wherein the control unit controls the informing unit to inform one of the first charging information and the second charging information based on a first variation in position of the first power receiving apparatus and a second variation in position of the second power receiving apparatus, if the first position and the second position are changed to more than the predetermined value.

8. The power supply apparatus according to claim 7, wherein the control unit controls the informing unit to inform the first charging information if the first variation is more than the second variation.

9. The power supply apparatus according to claim 7, wherein the first charging information is obtained from the first power receiving apparatus, and the second charging information is obtained from the second power receiving apparatus.

10. A power supply system comprising:

a power receiving apparatus; and

a power supply apparatus that supplies electric power wirelessly to the power receiving apparatus, wherein the power supply apparatus includes;

a detection unit that detects whether or not a position of the power receiving apparatus is changed to more than a predetermined value, and a control unit that controls an informing unit to inform charging information indicating a charging state of the power receiving apparatus, if the position is changed to more than the predetermined value.

11. A power supply system comprising:

a first power receiving apparatus;

a second power receiving apparatus; and

a power supply apparatus that supplies electric power wirelessly to the first power receiving apparatus and the second power receiving apparatus, wherein the power supply apparatus includes;

a detection unit that detects whether or not a first position of the first power receiving apparatus is changed to more than a predetermined value, and detects whether or not a second position of the second power receiving apparatus is changed to more than the predetermined value; and

a control unit that controls an informing unit to inform first charging information indicating a charging state of the first power receiving apparatus if the first position is changed to more than the predetermined value and the second position is not changed to more than the predetermined value, and the control unit controls the informing unit to inform second charging information indicating a charging state of the second power receiving apparatus if the second position is changed to more than the predetermined value and the first position is not changed to more than the predetermined value.

12. A method of controlling a power supply apparatus, the method comprising:

supplying electric power wirelessly to a power receiving apparatus;

detecting whether or not a position of the power receiving apparatus is changed to more than a predetermined value; and

controlling an informing unit to inform charging information indicating a charging state of the power receiving apparatus, if the position is changed to more than the predetermined value.

13. A method of controlling a power supply apparatus, the method comprising:

supplying electric power wirelessly to a first power receiving apparatus and a second power receiving apparatus;

detecting whether or not a first position of the first power receiving apparatus is changed to more than a predetermined value;

detecting whether or not a second position of the second power receiving apparatus is changed to more than the predetermined value;

controlling an informing unit to inform first charging information indicating a charging state of the first power receiving apparatus if the first position is changed to more than the predetermined value and the second position is not changed to more than the predetermined value; and

controlling the informing unit to inform second charging information indicating a charging state of the second power receiving apparatus if the second position is changed to more than the predetermined value and the first position is not changed to more than the predetermined value.

14. A non-transitory storage medium storing a program executed by a computer, the program controlling the computer to execute a method of controlling a power supply apparatus, the method comprising:

supplying electric power wirelessly to a power receiving apparatus;

detecting whether or not a position of the power receiving apparatus is changed to more than a predetermined value; and

controlling an informing unit to inform charging information indicating a charging state of the power receiving apparatus, if the position is changed to more than the predetermined value.

15. A non-transitory storage medium storing a program executed by a computer, the program controlling the computer to execute a method of controlling a power supply apparatus, the method comprising:

supplying electric power wirelessly to a first power receiving apparatus and a second power receiving apparatus;

detecting whether or not a first position of the first power receiving apparatus is changed to more than a predetermined value;

detecting whether or not a second position of the second power receiving apparatus is changed to more than the predetermined value;

controlling an informing unit to inform first charging information indicating a charging state of the first power receiving apparatus if the first position is changed to more than the predetermined value and the second position is not changed to more than the predetermined value; and

controlling the informing unit to inform second charging information indicating a charging state of the second power receiving apparatus if the second position is changed to more than the predetermined value and the first position is not changed to more than the predetermined value.
