Abstract

It is provided a fluorescent zirconia material including a fluorescent component and emitting fluorescence when excited with a light of a predetermined wavelength, the fluorescent component including a fluorescent material, the fluorescent material including at least one kind of Y₂SiO₅:Ce, Y₂SiO₅:Tb, (Y, Gd, Eu)BO₃, Y₂O₃:Eu, YAG:Ce, ZnGa₂O₄:Zn and BaMgAl₁₀O₁₇:Eu and the fluorescent material being capable of emiting the fluorescence when subjected to firing treatment at temperatures ranging from 1300 to 1600(° C.) under oxidizing environments.

11. A fluorescent zirconia material comprising a fluorescent component and emitting fluorescence when excited with a light of a predetermined wavelength, the fluorescent component including a fluorescent material,

the fluorescent material including at least one kind of Y₂SiO₅:

Ce, Y₂SiO₅;

Tb, (Y, Gd, Eu)BO₃, Y₂O₃;

Eu, YAG;

Ce, ZnGa₂O₄;

Zn and BaMgAl₁₀O₁₇;

Eu and

the fluorescent material being capable of emiting the fluorescence when subjected to firing treatment at temperatures ranging from 1300 to 1600(°

C.) under oxidizing environments.

12. The fluorescent zirconia material according to claim 11, wherein the predetermined wavelength is a wavelength of ultraviolet rays equal to or greater than 300 (nm) with the fluorescence being provided in blue color and blue-white color.

13. The fluorescent zirconia material according to claim 11, wherein the predetermined wavelength is a wavelength of ultraviolet rays equal to or less than 300 (nm).

17. The fluorescent zirconia material according to claim 11, wherein the fluorescent zirconia material is a dental material.

18. The fluorescent zirconia material according to claim 12, wherein the fluorescent zirconia material is a dental material.

19. The fluorescent zirconia material according to claim 13, wherein the fluorescent zirconia material is a dental material.

23. The fluorescent zirconia material according to claim 17, wherein the fluorescent zirconia material is used for a frame of a dental prosthesis.

24. The fluorescent zirconia material according to claim 18, wherein the fluorescent zirconia material is used for a frame of a dental prosthesis.

25. The fluorescent zirconia material according to claim 19, wherein the fluorescent zirconia material is used for a frame of a dental prosthesis.

14. A fluorescent zirconia material comprising a fluorescent component, the fluorescent component including a fluorescent material, the fluorescent material including at least one kind of element of Pr, Sm, Eu, Ga, Gd, Tm, Nd, Dy, Tb and Er or at least one kind of compounds of the element, and emitting fluorescence when excited with a light of a predetermined wavelength in the case that zirconium oxide per se has fluorescent property.

15. The fluorescent zirconia material according to claim 14, wherein the element is contained at a rate equal to or greater than 0.0001 (wt %).

16. The fluorescent zirconia material according to claim 14, wherein the element is added in the form of compounds Pr₂O₃, Sm₂O₃, Eu₂O₃, Ga₂O₃, Gd₂O₃, Tm₂O₃, Nd₂O₅, Dy₂O₃, Tb₄O₇ and Er(CH₃COO)₃.

20. The fluorescent zirconia material according to claim 14, wherein the fluorescent zirconia material is a dental material.

21. The fluorescent zirconia material according to claim 15, wherein the fluorescent zirconia material is a dental material.

22. The fluorescent zirconia material according to claim 16, wherein the fluorescent zirconia material is a dental material.

26. The fluorescent zirconia material according to claim 20, wherein the fluorescent zirconia material is used for a frame of a dental prosthesis.

27. The fluorescent zirconia material according to claim 21, wherein the fluorescent zirconia material is used for a frame of a dental prosthesis.

28. The fluorescent zirconia material according to claim 22, wherein the fluorescent zirconia material is used for a frame of a dental prosthesis.
