1. A computer-implemented method for improving efficiency of delivering food and/or drinks to a customer at a restaurant, comprising:

  • receiving at a computer from a customer a reservation including a preorder of the food and/or drink the customer wishes to receive upon arrival or seating at the restaurant;

    validating the reservation once the customer has arrived at the restaurant;

    once the reservation is validated and a wait time for the customer is determined to be less than or equal to a preparation time for preparing the preorder of food and/or drink, forwarding the preorder of food and/or drink of the validated reservation to a kitchen, a kitchen management system, and/or a bar for preparation at or before the time the customer arrives or is seated at a table; and

    storing in a database a record of the customer'"'"'s purchases in a customer profile.
