Abstract

A handle attachment including a mounting mechanism configured to couple the handle attachment to a computing machine and a dutch mechanism configured to reposition the handle attachment and lock the handle attachment in at least one position from the computing machine.

Claims

1. A handle attachment comprising:

a mounting mechanism configured to couple the handle attachment to a computing machine; and

a dutch mechanism configured to reposition the handle attachment and lock the handle attachment in at least one position from the computing machine.

2. The handle attachment of claim 1 wherein a first end of the dutch mechanism is configured to rotate along an axis while the handle attachment repositions to at least one of the positions.

3. The handle attachment of claim 2 wherein the dutch mechanism includes a center component configured to couple the first end of the dutch mechanism to a second end of the dutch mechanism.

4. The handle attachment of claim 2 wherein a base of the first end of the dutch mechanism includes at least one indentation configured to engage an indention component of the dutch mechanism when locking the handle attachment in at least one of the positions.

5. The handle attachment of claim 4 wherein the indention component of the dutch mechanism is coupled to a spring of the dutch mechanism and the spring is configured to retract the component while transitioning between at least one of the indentions.

6. The handle attachment of claim 1 wherein the dutch mechanism includes a cam action mechanism configured to reposition and lock the handle in at least one of the positions.

7. The handle attachment of claim 1 wherein the handle attachment is in an open position when the handle attachment is extended from the computing machine and the handle attachment is in a closed position when the handle attachment is retracted to the computing machine.

8. A computing machine comprising:

a handle attachment;

a first end mounting mechanism and a second end mounting mechanism configured to couple a first end and a second end of the handle attachment to a base of the machine; and

a dutch mechanism configured to reposition and lock the handle attachment in at least one position.

9. The computing machine of claim 8 further comprising rails configured to couple with the first end and the second end of the mounting mechanism and the dutch mechanism repositions the handle attachment by sliding along the rails.

10. The computing machine of claim 8 wherein the dutch mechanism includes a motor configured to reposition and lock the handle attachment in at least one of the positions in response to a user accessing the handle attachment.

11. The computing machine of claim 8 wherein the first end of the handle attachment and the second end of the handle attachment include apertures to couple with the first end mounting mechanism and the second end mounting mechanism.

12. The computing machine of claim 9 wherein the first end mounting mechanism and the second end mounting mechanism include modules configured to engage the apertures of the first end of the handle attachment and the second end of the handle attachment.

13. The computing machine of claim 12 wherein the dutch mechanism couples the modules of the mounting mechanism to the apertures of the handle attachment.

14. A method for repositioning a handle attachment comprising:

coupling a first end and a second end of the handle attachment to a computing machine; and

configuring a dutch mechanism to reposition and lock the handle attachment in at least one position around an axis on the computing machine in response to a user accessing the handle attachment.

The method for repositioning the handle attachment of claim 14 wherein the dutch mechanism includes a motor configured to reposition the handle attachment to an open position when the user is accessing the handle attachment and reposition the handle attachment to a dosed position when the user is not accessing the handle attachment.
