1. An arterial pressure measurement system using an indirect method, wherein the system comprises:

  • a device applying an external contact force to a measurable artery;

    an arterial expression sensor recording the expression produced by blood flow and arterial wall before, during and after receiving an external contact force through the device applying an external contact force, during arterial obliteration process;

    a measuring and detection device that, based on the values recorded by both of the abovementioned devices, determines arterial cycle systolic and diastolic periods and therefore measures systolic and diastolic arterial pressure by detecting or not arterial expressions during the arterial cycle corresponding period through the arterial expression sensor and equaling the external contact force applied on the 1a measurable artery to the force required to occlude the same in the corresponding period.
