1. A display mounting apparatus comprising:
- a wall mount;
a support mechanism including—
an upper support arm rotatably connected to the wall mount about a substantially horizontal axis at a proximal end of the upper support arm,a lower support arm rotatably connected to the wall mount about a substantially horizontal axis at a proximal end of the lower support arm;
a lift mechanism connected at a first end to the upper support arm and connected at a second end to the wall mount; and
a display support rotatably connected to a distal end of the upper support arm about a substantially horizontal axis and rotatably connected to a distal end of the lower support arm about a substantially horizontal axis,wherein the display support is operable to move from a retracted position to an extended position and wherein the display support is operable to support a display weighing 11.3 kg or more.
