Abstract

A method for controlling a mobile terminal image includes providing a first image and a second image via a controller on the mobile terminal, the first and second images reflecting a binocular disparity to form a three dimensional image, identifying an editing target from the three dimensional image, editing a first image of the identified editing target, and applying the edited first image and a second image corresponding to the edited first image to the three dimensional image.

Claims

1. A method for controlling a mobile terminal, the method comprising:

providing, via a controller on the mobile phone, a first image and a second image, the first and second images reflecting a binocular disparity to form a three dimensional image;

identifying, via the controller, an editing target from the three dimensional image;

editing, via the controller, the first image of the identified editing target; and

applying, via the controller, the edited first image and the second image corresponding to the edited first image to the three dimensional image.

2. The method of claim 1, further comprising:

identifying the selected editing target through a user'"'"'s touch input, proximity touch, or area input.

3. The method of claim 1, further comprising:

synthesizing a graphic object into the first image.

4. The method of claim 3, wherein the graphic object is text, a line, a diagram, an icon, an image, or video.

5. The method of claim 3, further comprising:

synthesizing the graphic object into the second image in consideration of the binocular disparity; and

applying the synthesized first image and the synthesize second image to the three dimensional image.

6. The method of claim 1, further comprising:

adjusting a position or direction of the editing target on the three dimensional image according to a user input after applying the first and second images to the three dimensional image.

7. The method of claim 1, further comprising:

calculating three dimensional location information of the identified editing target corresponding to a first observation angle of the identified editing target;

generating a three dimensional graphic object according to the three dimensional location information; and

synthesizing the generated three dimensional graphic object into the first image.

8. The method of claim 1, further comprising:

calculating three dimensional location information of the identified editing target corresponding to the first observation angle of the identified editing target;

transforming the identified editing target to correspond to a second observation angle by using the three dimensional location information; and

editing the first image of the transformed editing target.

9. The method of claim 8, further comprising:

applying a same editing as that for the first image of the transformed editing target to the second image in consideration of the binocular disparity; and

transforming the transformed editing target to correspond to the first observation angle by using the three dimensional location information.

10. The method of claim 8, further comprising:

generating the second image from the first image of the transformed editing target in consideration of the binocular disparity; and

transforming the transformed editing target such that it corresponds to the first observation angle by using the three dimensional location information.

11. A method for controlling a mobile terminal, the method comprising:

providing, via a controller on the mobile terminal, a first image and a second image, the first and second image reflecting a binocular disparity to form a three dimensional image;

receiving, via the controller, a graphic object to be synthesized;

identifying, via the controller, a synthesizing target from the three dimensional image; and

synthesizing, via the controller, the received graphic object into the identified synthesizing target.

12. The method of claim 11, further comprising:

displaying the target into which the graphic object can be synthesized such that the target is discriminated; and

identifying a target selected by a user as the synthesizing target.

13. The method of claim 12, wherein, in displaying the target discriminately, when the graphic object moves, a target that can be synthesized into the graphic object, among targets near the graphic object, is discriminately displayed.

14. The method of claim 11, further comprising acquiring the first image of a person identified from the three dimensional image as the graphic object;

searching a database for a two-dimensional photo image which corresponds with the first image; and

acquiring information in association with the two-dimensional photo image from the database;

synthesizing the acquired information into the first image; and

applying the synthesized first image and a second image corresponding to the synthesized first image to the three dimensional image.

15. The method of claim 11, further comprising:

identifying a plurality of synthesizing targets, each synthesizing target having a different depth scaling from the three dimensional image; and

synthesizing the graphic object into the plurality of synthesizing targets such that the graphic object has different depths on portions of the graphic object overlapping with the synthesizing targets.

16. A mobile terminal, comprising:

a display unit configured to display a three dimensional image; and

a controller configured to identify an editing target from the 3D image, edit a first image of the editing target, and apply the edited first image and a second image corresponding to the edited first image to the three dimensional image,

wherein the first and second image reflect a binocular disparity to form the three dimensional image.

17. The mobile terminal of claim 16, wherein the controller is further configured to identify the selected editing target through a user'"'"'s touch input, proximity touch, or an area input.

18. The mobile terminal of claim 16, wherein the controller is further configured to synthesize a graphic object into the first image.

19. The mobile terminal of claim 18, wherein the controller is further configured to synthesize the graphic object into the second image in consideration of the binocular disparity, and synthesize the first image and the second image into the three dimensional image.

20. The mobile terminal of claim 16, wherein the controller is further configured to adjust a location or direction of the editing target on the three dimensional image according to a user input.

21. The mobile terminal of claim 16, wherein the controller is further configured to calculate three dimensional location information of the identified editing target corresponding to the first observation angle of the identified editing target, transform the identified editing target to correspond to a second observation angle by using the 3D location information, and display the first image of the transformed editing target.

22. The mobile terminal of claim 21, wherein the controller is further configured to edit the first image of the transformed editing target, apply a same editing with respect to the first image to the second image in consideration of the binocular disparity, and transform the transformed editing target to correspond to the first observation angle by using the three dimensional location information.

23. A mobile terminal, comprising:

a display unit configured to display a three dimensional image; and

a controller configured to receive a graphic object to be synthesized, identify an synthesizing target from the three dimensional image, and synthesize the graphic object into the synthesizing target.

24. The mobile terminal of claim 23, wherein the controller is further configured to discriminately display a target into which the graphic object is to be synthesized, and identify a target selected by a user as the synthesizing target.

25. The mobile terminal of claim 23, wherein the controller is further configured to discriminately display a target that can be synthesized into the graphic object, among targets near the graphic object, when the graphic object moves.

26. The mobile terminal of claim 23, wherein the controller is further configured to acquire a first image of a person identified from the three dimensional image as the graphic object, search a database for a two-dimensional photo image which corresponds with the first image, acquire information in association with the two-dimensional photo image from the database, synthesize the acquired information into the first image, and apply the first image and a second image corresponding to the first image to a three dimensional image.

The mobile terminal of claim 23, wherein the controller is further configured to identify a plurality of synthesizing targets, each synthesizing target having a different depth scaling from the three dimensional image, and synthesize the graphic object into the plurality of synthesizing targets such that the graphic object has different depths on portions of the graphic object overlapping with the synthesizing targets.
