a second exposable element configured such that when exposed the second exposable element reveals a dealer total for comparing with at least two exposed first exposable elements to determine a game outcome for the lottery game card.

Abstract
A lottery game card incorporates player direction in determining the outcome of the game and allows a player to reveal one or more elements on the card according to rules associated with the lottery game. According to one embodiment of the invention, a player may choose any of the elements as the first revealed element. The player'"'"'s progression through a card is not predetermined such that the player has significant ability or flexibility to control or direct the play of the lottery game embodied by the card and to influence or direct the outcome of the lottery game embodied by the card.

5. A method for playing a lottery game, the method comprising:

receiving a lottery game card comprising; a plurality of first exposable elements in a game area of a lottery game, each first exposable element in the plurality of first exposable elements being adjacent to at least two other elements in the plurality of first exposable elements, further in which any first exposable element in the plurality of exposable elements in the game area can be exposed as an initial element, and a second exposable element configured such that when exposed the second exposable element reveals a dealer total; exposing the second exposable element to reveal the dealer total; exposing a selected initial first exposable element to reveal an indication of at least two first exposable elements that are adjacent to the exposed initial first exposable element and that are eligible to be selected next; exposing a selected next first exposable element of the at least two first exposable elements indicated by the exposed initial first exposable element, to reveal an indication of at least two first exposable elements that are adjacent to the exposed next first exposable element and that are eligible to be selected next; determining a game outcome of the lottery game card based on a first number associated with the exposed initial first exposable element, a second number associated with the exposed next first exposable element, the dealer total, and at least one game rule. - View Dependent Claims (6, 7)
