11. An intravenous (“
- IV”
) administration set including;an IV line for providing a primary medical fluid or drug to a patient; a site providing an administration connection into the IV line; a multi-way valve including a normal flow position and a secondary flow position to a secondary connection of the multi-way valve; a syringe including a discharge end configured to connect to the administration connection; and a tube connected fluidly to the syringe and the secondary connection, such that when the multi-way valve is set to the secondary flow position, a secondary medical fluid or drug injected from the syringe through the administration connection into the IV line causes a displacement of primary medical fluid or drug into the tube. - View Dependent Claims (12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18)
