An electric storage device comprising a unit that is obtained by alternately stacking a positive-electrode sheet and a negative-electrode sheet with a separator interposed therebetween, the positive electrode sheet comprising a positive-electrode active material layer and a positive-electrode charge collector, and the negative electrode sheet comprising a negative-electrode active material layer and a negative-electrode charge collector, whereina foil, an etching foil, or a porous lath foil is used as the positive-electrode charge collector and the negative-electrode charge collector,a cut is made in a coating area of the positive-electrode active material layer and the negative-electrode active material layer, anda lithium supply source is disposed so as to be opposed to the negative electrode sheet of the unit.
