counting a number of clock cycles that elapse until an electrical circuit connected to an electrochemical cell of a fluid-ejection printhead die outputs a logic one; dividing the number of clock cycles by a clock frequency to yield a tau parameter of a resistive-capacitive response of fluid within the fluid-ejection printhead die; and
