Abstract

Disclosed are systems, methods, and computer readable media for tracking a person of interest. The method embodiment comprises identifying a person of interest, capturing a voiceprint of the person of interest, comparing a received voiceprint of a caller with the voiceprint of the person of interest, and tracking the caller if the voiceprint of the caller is a substantial match to the voiceprint of the person of interest.

Claims

1. A method comprising:

capturing a voiceprint associated with a caller;

comparing the voiceprint with a first stored voiceprint residing at a first device to yield a first certainty;

comparing, based on whether the first certainty is less than a threshold of certainty, the voiceprint with a second stored voiceprint residing at a second device to yield a second certainty; and

identifying the caller based on whether at least one of the first certainty and the second certainty meet the threshold of certainty.

The method of claim 1, wherein the threshold of certainty is based on at least one of a location of the caller, a phone number, a device associated with the caller, a time of day, a content of the voiceprint, an information profile, a person associated with the first device, and the first device.

3. The method of claim 1, wherein the threshold of certainty comprises a substantial match.

4. The method of claim 1, further comprising fine-tuning at least one of the first stored voiceprint and the second stored voiceprint based on the voiceprint.

5. The method of claim 1, further comprising storing the voiceprint in a database.

6. The method of claim 1, further comprising storing external data associated with the voiceprint, wherein the external data comprises at least one of a content, a transcription, a duration, a time of day, a location, a device, a rate of movement, a phone number, a button pressed, an ambient noise, a recipient, and the caller.

7. The method of claim 1, further comprising tracking the caller based on a communications device used by the caller to communicate with the first device.

8. The method of claim 1, wherein the first device is a mobile device.

9. A system comprising:

a processor; and

a memory storing instructions for controlling the processor to perform steps comprising;

capturing a voiceprint associated with a caller;

comparing the voiceprint with a first stored voiceprint to yield a first certainty;

comparing, based on whether the first certainty is less than a threshold of certainty, the voiceprint with a second stored voiceprint residing at a remote device to yield a second certainty; and

identifying the caller based on whether at least one of the first certainty and the second certainty meet the threshold of certainty.

The method of claim 1, wherein the threshold of certainty is based on at least one of a location of the caller, a phone number, a device associated with the caller, a time of day, a content of the voiceprint, an information profile, a person associated with the first device, and the first device.

10. The system of claim 9, wherein the threshold of certainty comprises a substantial match.

11. The system of claim 9, further comprising fine-tuning at least one of the first stored voiceprint and the second stored voiceprint based on the voiceprint.

12. The system of claim 9, further comprising storing data associated with the voiceprint in a database, wherein the external data comprises at least one of a content, a transcription, a duration, a time of day, a location, a device, a rate of movement, a phone number, a button pressed, an ambient noise, a recipient, and the caller.

13. The system of claim 9, further comprising tracking the caller based on a communications device used by the caller to communicate with the system.

14. A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing instructions which, when executed by a computing device, cause the computing device to perform steps comprising:

capturing a voiceprint associated with a caller;

comparing the voiceprint with a first stored voiceprint residing at a first device to yield a first certainty;

comparing, based on whether the first certainty is less than a threshold of certainty, the voiceprint with a second stored voiceprint residing at a second device to yield a second certainty; and

identifying the caller based on whether at least one of the first certainty and the second certainty meet the threshold of certainty.

The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 14, wherein the threshold of certainty is based on at least one of a location of the caller, a phone number, a device associated with the caller, a time of day, a content of the voiceprint, an information profile, a person associated with the first device, and the first device.

16. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 14, wherein the threshold of certainty comprises a substantial match.

17. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 14, further comprising fine-tuning at least one of the first stored voiceprint and the second stored voiceprint based on the voiceprint.

18. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 14, further comprising storing data associated with the voiceprint in a database, wherein the data comprises at least one of a content, a transcription, a duration, a time of day, a location, a device, a rate of movement, a phone number, a button pressed, an ambient noise, a recipient, and the caller.

19. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 14, further comprising tracking the caller based on a communications device used by the caller to communicate with the first device.

20. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 14, wherein the first device is a mobile device.
