A ball screw comprising a threaded nut which is arranged on a threaded spindle and having a stop for circumferential abutment of the threaded nut in a stop position, wherein the stop has a first stop surface assigned to the threaded nut and has a second stop surface which is provided for abutting against the first stop surface and which is assigned to the threaded spindle, and in the stop position, an axial overlap of the first stop surface with the second stop surface is provided, and the axial overlap amounts to between 20% and 85% of a pitch of the threaded spindle.
