1. A method of analyte monitoring, comprising:
- receiving, with one of a first or a second electronic devices, one or more signals associated with a monitored analyte level;
detecting, with the one of the first or the second electronics devices, whether the other one of the first or the second electronics devices is in a power on state;
transmitting the stored one or more signals from the one of the first or the second electronic devices to the other one of the first or the second electronic devices; and
powering down the other one of the first or the second electronic devices when the one of the first or the second electronic devices is detected to be in the power on state.
