Abstract

Disclosed are a method for transmitting scheduling information in a mobile communication system and a femtocell base station using the method. A femtocell base station transmits scheduling information using a layered scheduling system in which the femtocell base station receives an allocated resource from a macrocell base station, and allocates the resource to femtocell users within a resource region thereof.

Claims

1. A method of transmitting a signal at a femtocell base station using scheduling information in a mobile communication system, a comprising:

receiving scheduling information from a macrocell base station in a N^th time unit (wherein N is an integer), the scheduling information including information on resource allocation for the femtocell base station; and

transmitting a signal to at least one or more femtocell user equipments (UEs) in one or more time units starting from a N+K^th time unit (wherein K is an integer), the femtocell UEs being serviced by the femtocell base station.

2. The method of claim 1, further comprising:

transmitting the scheduling information received from the macrocell base station to the at least one or more femtocell user equipments in a N+M^th time unit (wherein M is an integer, and wherein 1≦

M≦

K).

3. The method of claim 2, further comprising:

transmitting a signal requesting resource allocation to the macrocell base station.

4. The method of claim 1, wherein the scheduling information includes information indicating that resource allocated for the femtocell base station is allocated to one or more femtocell UEs for the one or more time units, the one or more femtocell UEs being serviced by the femtocell base station.

5. The method of claim 4, wherein the one or more time units correspond to consecutive time units or periodic time units.

6. The method of claim 1, wherein the time unit corresponds to a subframe or a slot.

7. The method of claim 1, wherein the received scheduling information is transmitted through any one of a R-PDCCH (Relay-PDCCH) being a channel for transmitting control information for a relay station (RN), higher layer signaling, and backhaul.

8. The method of claim 6, wherein, the K is equal to 4 when the time unit corresponds to a subframe.

9. The method of claim 5, wherein the scheduling information received from the macrocell base station is transmitted through a semi-persistent scheduling signal when time units scheduled to the at least one or more femtocell UEs correspond to periodic time units.

10. A method of performing scheduling at a macrocell base station in a mobile communication system, the method comprising:

transmitting scheduling information to a femtocell base station in a N^th time unit (wherein N is an integer), the scheduling information including information on resource allocated to the femtocell base station; and

performing scheduling on one or more user equipments (UEs) being serviced by the femtocell base station with the exception for UEs being serviced by the macrocell base station in one or more time units allocated to the femtocell base station starting from a N+K^th time unit (wherein K is an integer).

11. A femtocell base station for transmitting a signal using scheduling information in a mobile communication system, the femtocell base station comprising:

a reception module configured to receive scheduling information from a macrocell base station in a N^th time unit (wherein N is an integer), the scheduling information including information on resource allocation for the femtocell base station;

a scheduling module configured to perform scheduling on at least one or more femtocell user equipments (UEs) in one or more time units starting from a N+K^th time unit (wherein K is an integer), by using the received scheduling information, the femtocell UEs being serviced by the femtocell base station; and

a transmission module configured to transmit a signal to the at least one or more femtocell UEs in one or more time units starting from the N+K^th time unit (wherein K is an integer).

12. The femtocell base station of claim 11, further comprising:

a transmission module configured to transmit the scheduling information received from the macrocell base station to the at least one or more femtocell UEs in N+M^th time unit (wherein M is an integer, and wherein 1≦

M≦

K).

13. The femtocell base station of claim 12, further comprising:

a transmission module configured to transmit a signal requesting resource allocation to the macrocell base station.

The femtocell base station of claim 11, wherein the scheduling information includes information indicating that resource allocated for the femtocell base station is allocated to one or more femtocell UEs for the one or more time units, the one or more femtocell UEs being serviced by the femtocell base station.

15. The femtocell base station of claim 14, wherein the one or more time units correspond to consecutive time units or periodic time units.

16. The femtocell base station of claim 11, wherein the time unit corresponds to a subframe or a slot.

17. The femtocell base station of claim 11, wherein the received scheduling information is transmitted through any one of a R-PDCCH (Relay-PDCCH) being a channel for transmitting control information for a relay station (RN), higher layer signaling, and backhaul.

18. The femtocell base station of claim 16, wherein the K is equal to 4 when the time unit corresponds to a subframe.

19. The femtocell base station of claim 15, wherein the scheduling information received from the macrocell base station is transmitted through a semi-persistent scheduling signal when time units scheduled to the at least one or more femtocell UEs correspond to periodic time units.

20. A macrocell base station for performing scheduling in a mobile communication system, the macrocell base station comprising:

a transmission module configured to transmit scheduling information to a femtocell base station in a N^th time unit (wherein N is an integer), the scheduling information including information on resource allocated to the femtocell base station; and

a scheduling module configured to perform scheduling on one or more user equipments (UEs) being serviced by the femtocell base station with the exception for UEs being serviced by the macrocell base station in one or more time units allocated to the femtocell base station starting from a N+K^th time unit (wherein K is an integer).
