HEURISTICALLY-DRIVEN PLATFORM AND METHOD FOR HIRING BASED ON PREVIOUSLY-SUPPORTED JOBS
First Claim
1. A computer-implemented method for implementing a hiring campaign comprising the steps of:
- via a computational device, maintaining a database of previously measured job listings ranked according to effectiveness based on at least one predetermined metric of effectiveness;
via a computational device, receiving user input comprising at least one search term related to a job;
responsive to said user input, outputting from said database at least one job listing having at least a predetermined level of similarity to said user input;
via a computational device, responsive to a user selection of at least one job listing from said output, creating a job listing for said job from at least a portion of said at least one user-selected job listing and, responsive to user modification of said at least one portion, said at least one user modification;
via a computational device, determining and presenting to said user at least one previously-supported venue for marketing said job, said determining based on said at least one predetermined metric of effectiveness;
via a computational device, publishing said created job listing to at least one user-selected venue;
via a computational device, outputting candidate responses to said published job listing to said user;
via a computational device, responsive to a determination according to said at least one predetermined metric of effectiveness that performance of said hiring campaign fails to meet at least one predetermined standard for effectiveness, suggesting modification of said hiring campaign.

Abstract
A heuristically-driven platform and method for hiring based on previously-supported jobs and collected metrics solves the problem of efficiently connecting hiring agents and suitable job candidates. A portal application includes an inventory of successful placements and successful listings, allowing hiring agents to build job searches against a database of historical jobs. Leveraging the portal'"'"'s inventory of placements and listings, the hiring agent may build a listing and design a candidate search based on previous listings, search venues for the same job type and metrics collected against each. An embodiment may provide the hiring agent a listing of the hiring agent'"'"'s jobs, a list of applicants for each listed job and the detail for each applicant. The platform monitors applicant flow, online interviews, and site usage analytics for each position, suggesting alternatives and course corrections to the hiring agent if the performance of the job search is sub-par based on benchmarks.
