- A wireless communication device for relaying a signal between a base station and a mobile station, the wireless communication device comprising;
a receiver that is configured to receive the signal from the base station or the mobile station;
a transmitter that is configured to transmit the signal to the base station or the mobile station; and
a changeover unit that is configured to switch an operation mode to a reception mode for receiving the signal from the base station or the mobile station, or a transmission mode for transmitting the signal to the base station or the mobile station, whereinthe changeover unit is configured to switch the operation mode from the transmission mode to the reception mode in a subframe set to an MBSFN subframe by the wireless communication device among subframes subsequent to a subframe in which a NACK for requiring a retransmission of the base station is transmitted.
