1. A method for handling unreliable scheduling grants in a telecommunication network, comprising the steps of:
- receiving a report of an event on continuously detected received unreliable scheduling grants during a given period of time; and
,initiating radio resource managing procedures for the downlink to decrease downlink interference in response to the received event report.

Abstract
The present invention relates to methods and arrangements for handling unreliable scheduling grants in a WCDMA-communication system. A user equipment detects that a received scheduling grant is unreliable and adjust its serving grant based on that information. The user equipment is also able to report continuously received unreliable grants as an event to the network, allowing the network to adapt its operation to reduce the unreliable grants.

5. A method for handling unreliably transmitted scheduling grants in a Node B of a telecommunication network, comprising the steps of:
-
detecting at least one unreliable transmitted scheduling grant by comparing an expected bit rate and an actual received bit rate from the user equipment; and
detecting an unreliable transmitted scheduling grant if said comparison falls within a predetermined bit rate interval; and
,requesting a radio network controller to review the power offsets of the downlink scheduling grant channels based on said at least one grant. - View Dependent Claims (6, 7, 8, 9)
