Abstract

An optical component is connectable to a camera unit and comprises a data structure including data associated with the optical component. When the optical component is connected to the camera unit, data associated with the optical component is transferred to the camera unit. Image production of an organ by the camera unit is controlled based on the data associated with the optical component.

Claims

1. A method of processing an image, the method using a camera unit for producing an image of an organ in an electronic format, the method comprising using at least one optical component connectable to the camera unit;

and each optical component including a data structure including data associated with the optical component; and

transferring data associated with an optical component from a data structure to the camera unit, at least one optical component being connected to the camera unit; and

controlling the image production of the organ by the camera unit based on one more data units associated with the optical component.

2. A method as claimed in claim 1, the method further comprising transferring data associated with an optical component from a data structure to a controller of the camera unit, and controlling the image production with the controller based on the data associated with the optical component.

3. A method as claimed in claim 1, the method further comprising controlling the image production by changing the brightness of the image.

4. A method as claimed in claim 1, the method further comprising controlling the image production by changing the contrast of the image.

5. A method as claimed in claim 1, the method further comprising controlling the image production by changing the colour shades of the image.

6. A method as claimed in claim 1, the method further comprising controlling the image production by changing the colouring of the image in at least part of the image area.

7. A method as claimed in claim 1, the method further comprising controlling the image production by cropping part of the detecting area of the detector when producing the image.

8. A method as claimed in claim 1, the method further comprising controlling the image production by producing the image with predetermined exposure values.

9. A method as claimed in claim 1, the method further comprising controlling the image production by adjusting at least one radiation source of the camera unit that illuminates the organ.

10. A method as claimed in claim 1, the method further comprising controlling the image production by adjusting the illumination of an examination room.

11. A method as claimed in claim 1, the method further comprising attaching, to the image, information on the one or more optical components used.

12. A method as claimed in claim 1, the method further comprising determining the organ based on data associated with one or more optical components, and attaching the information on the organ to the image.

13. A method as claimed in claim 1, the method further comprising determining the persons authorized to use the image produced, based on the data associated with one or more optical components, and attaching the information on the persons determined to the image for preventing others from using the image.

14. A method as claimed in claim 1, the method further comprising guiding the image produced to one or more predetermined persons based on the data associated with one or more optical components.

15. A method as claimed in claim 1, the method further comprising determining the security of the use of the camera unit based on data associated with the movements of the camera unit and the data associated with one or more optical components, and presenting a notification to the user about the insecurity of use if the measurement result of the movements of the camera unit is higher than a highest reference value based on the associated with one or more optical components.

16. A method as claimed in claim 1, the method further comprising producing an image of an organ in each imaging situation, with the focusing distance being predetermined based on the data associated with one or more optical components, the organ being at the focusing distance from the camera unit.

17. A method as claimed in claim 1, wherein the data associated with one or more optical components comprises information on temperature.

18. A method as claimed in claim 1, that wherein each optical component is an additional objective of the camera unit.

19. A method as claimed in claim 1, the method further comprising producing an image by means of at least one detective sensor of an optical component fastened to the camera unit.

20. A method as claimed in claim 19, the method further comprising producing an image by means of at least one detective sensor of an optical component fastened to the camera unit at a different wavelength than with the detector of the camera unit.

21. A camera unit for producing an image, the camera unit being adapted to produce an image in an electronic format of an organ with a detector, the camera unit comprises comprising at least one optical component connectable to the camera unit;

each optical component including a data structure including data associated with the optical component;

the data structure of each optical component being adapted to transfer data associated with an optical component to the camera unit when at least one optical component is connected to the camera unit; and

the data structure being adapted to control the production of the image of the organ based on the data associated with the optical component.

A camera unit as claimed in claim 21, wherein the data structure is a memory circuit, and a controller of the camera unit is adapted to communicate with each other for transferring the data associated with the optical component to the controller, and the controller of the camera unit is adapted to control image production based on the data associated with the optical component.

23. A camera unit as claimed in claim 21, wherein the data structure is adapted to control the brightness of the image based on the data associated with the optical component.

24. A camera unit as claimed in claim 21, wherein the data structure is adapted to control the contrast of the image based on the data associated with the optical component.

25. A camera unit as claimed in claim 21, wherein the data structure is adapted to control the colour shades of the image based on the data associated with the optical component.

26. A camera unit as claimed in claim 21, wherein the data structure is adapted to control the colouring of the image on at least part of the image area based on the data associated with the optical component.

27. A camera unit as claimed in claim 21, wherein the data structure is adapted to control the controller of the camera unit to crop part of the detection area of the detector based on the data associated with the optical component.

28. A camera unit as claimed in claim 21, wherein the data structure is adapted to control image production based on the data associated with the optical component by producing the image with predetermined exposure values.

29. A camera unit as claimed in claim 21, wherein the camera unit comprises at least one radiation source;

and the data structure is adapted to control image production based on the data associated with the optical component by adjusting at least one radiation source of the camera unit that illuminates the organ.

30. A camera unit as claimed in claim 21, wherein the data structure is adapted to control image production based on the data associated with the optical component by adjusting the illumination of an examination room.

31. A camera unit as claimed in claim 21, wherein the camera unit is adapted to attach data on one or more optical components used to the image.

32. A camera unit as claimed in claim 21, wherein the camera unit is adapted to determine the organ based on the data associated with one or more optical components, and the camera unit is adapted to attach the data on the organ to the image.

33. A camera unit as claimed in claim 21, wherein the camera unit is adapted to determine the persons authorized to use the image produced based on the data associated with one or more optical components, and the camera unit is adapted to attach the data on the persons determined to the image for preventing other persons from using the image.

34. A camera unit as claimed in claim 21, wherein the camera unit is adapted to direct the image produced to one or more predetermined persons based on the data associated with one or more optical components.

35. A camera unit as claimed in claim 21, wherein the camera unit is adapted to determine the security of use of the camera unit based on the movements of the camera unit and the data associated with one or more optical components, and the camera unit is adapted to display a message to the user about an insecurity of use if the measurement result of the movements of the camera unit is higher than a highest reference value that is based on the data associated with one or more optical components.

36. A camera unit as claimed in claim 21, wherein the camera unit is adapted to produce the image of the organ when the organ is at the focusing distance away from the camera unit in each imaging situation, focusing distance being predetermined based on the data associated with one or more optical components.

37. A camera unit as claimed in claim 21, wherein the data associated with one or more optical components comprise information on temperature.

38. A camera unit as claimed in claim 21, wherein each optical component is an additional objective of the camera unit.

39. A camera unit as claimed in claim 21, wherein at least one optical component comprises at least one detecting sensor for producing an image.

40. A camera unit as claimed in claim 39, wherein at least one detecting sensor is adapted to produce an image at a different wavelength than the detector of the camera unit.

41. An analytical device for producing an image, the analytical device being adapted to produce an image in an electronic format of an organ, the analytical device comprising a camera unit and at least two optical components connectable to the camera unit;

each optical component including a data structure including data associated with the optical component;

the data structure of each optical component being adapted to transfer data associated with an optical component to the analytical device when at least one optical component is connected to the camera unit; and

the data structure being adapted to control the production of the image of the organ based on the data associated with the optical component.

42. An analytical device as claimed in claim 41, wherein the data structure is a memory circuit, and a controller of the analytical device is adapted to communicate with each other for transferring the data associated with the optical component to the controller, and the controller of the analytical device is adapted to control image production based on the data associated with the optical component.

43. An analytical device as claimed in claim 41, wherein each optical component is an additional objective of the camera unit.

44. An analytical system for producing an image, the analytical system comprising an analytical device for producing an image in an electronic format of an organ, the analytical system comprising a server;

the server and the analytical device are adapted to be in connection with each other;

the analytical device comprises a camera unit and at least two optical components connectable to the camera unit;

each optical component includes a data structure including data associated with the optical component;

the data structure of each optical component is adapted to transfer data associated with an optical component to the analytical device when at least one optical component is connected to the camera unit; and

the data structure is adapted to control the production of the image of the organ based on the data associated with the optical component.

45. An analytical system as claimed in claim 44, wherein the data structure is a memory circuit, and a controller of the analytical system is adapted to communicate with each other for transferring the data associated with the optical component to the controller, and the controller of the analytical system is adapted to control image production based on the data associated with the optical component.

46. An analytical system as claimed in claim 44, wherein each optical component is an additional objective of the camera unit.
