1. A system for implanting an organ port into a mammal, wherein said system comprises:
- (a) an entry device comprising a body and a blade attached to said body, and(b) an organ port comprising a housing having a first end and a second end, wherein said housing defines a channel extending between said first end and said second end, wherein said first end is configured to be inserted into an organ of said mammal, wherein said channel is configured to provide repeated access to the interior of said organ through said channel, wherein said first end comprises a securing portion configured to secure said first end to an interior region of said organ, and wherein said second end comprises a securing portion configured to secure said second end to an exterior region of said organ, andwherein said entry device is configured to be withdrawn through said channel.

38. A method for accessing the interior of an organ in a mammal, wherein said method comprises
(a) contacting an exterior of said organ with an entry device comprising a body and a blade attached to said body to form an opening into said interior, and (b) inserting an organ port into said opening under condition wherein said organ port forms a channel from said exterior to said interior.
