Abstract

A garment and/or garment system with health-monitoring (e.g., cardiovascular monitoring) capability, substantially as shown in and/or described in connection with at least one of the figures, as set forth more completely in the claims.

Claims

1. A garment comprising:

a plurality of ECG sensors;

an interface that operates to provide communication between a processor and said ECG sensors.

2. The garment of claim 1, where said garment comprises a shirt.

3. The garment of claim 1, where said garment comprises one or more of:

a pair of pants, a pair of shorts, a sock, a swim suit, a body suit;

a hat; and

a glove.

4. The garment of claim 1, wherein said plurality of ECG sensors each comprise respective conductive fiber woven into the garment.

5. The garment of claim 1, comprising the processor.

6. The garment of claim 1, where the processor is a processor of a general-purpose personal communication device.

7. The garment of claim 1, where the processor is a processor of a general-purpose personal computer system.

8. The garment of claim 1, where the processor is a processor of a health care enterprise computer system.

9. A system for ascertaining health of a wearer of a garment, the system comprising:

at least one module operable to, at least;

receive a plurality of respective signals from a plurality of ECG sensors of the garment; and

analyze at least the received plurality of respective signals to ascertain cardiovascular health of the wearer of the garment.

10. The system of claim 9, wherein at least a portion of said at least one module is integrated into the garment.

11. The system of claim 9, wherein said at least one module comprises at least one module of a general purpose personal communication device.

12. The system of claim 9, wherein said at least one module comprises at least one module of a general purpose personal computer system.

13. The system of claim 9, wherein said at least one module comprises at least one module of health-care enterprise computer system.

14. A garment comprising:

a first sensor of a first type of sensor;

a second sensor of a second type of sensor different from the first type of sensor; and

an interface that operates to provide communication between a processor and said sensors.

15. The garment of claim 14, wherein the first type of sensor comprises an ECG electrode.

16. The garment of claim 14, wherein the first type of sensor is a physiological sensor, and the second type of sensor is a physiological sensor.

17. The garment of claim 14, wherein the first type of sensor is a physiological sensor, and the second type of sensor is a non-physiological sensor.

18. The garment of claim 14, where said garment comprises a shirt.

19. The garment of claim 14, where said garment comprises one or more of:

a pair of pants, a pair of shorts, a sock, a swim suit, a body suit;

a hat; and

a glove.

20. The garment of claim 14, wherein said interface comprises a wireless interface.

21. The garment of claim 14, comprising the processor.

22. The garment of claim 14, where the processor is a processor of a general-purpose personal communication device.

23. The garment of claim 14, where the processor is a processor of a general-purpose personal computer system.

24. The garment of claim 14, wherein the processor is a processor of a health care enterprise computer system.

25. A system for ascertaining health of a wearer of a garment, the system comprising:

at least one module operable to, at least;

receive a first signal corresponding to a first sensor of the garment, the first sensor of a first type of sensor;

receive a second signal corresponding to a second sensor of the garment, the second sensor of a second type different from the first type; and

analyze at least the received first signal and the received second signal to ascertain health of the garment wearer.

26. The system of claim 25, where the first type of sensor comprises an ECG electrode.

27. The system of claim 25, where the first type of sensor is a physiological sensor, and the second type of sensor is a physiological sensor.

28. The system of claim 25, where the first type of sensor is a physiological sensor, and the second type of sensor is a non-physiological sensor.

29. The system of claim 25, wherein at least a portion of said at least one module is integrated into the garment.

30. The system of claim 25, wherein said at least one module comprises at least one module of a general purpose personal communication device.

31. The system of claim 25, wherein said at least one module comprises at least one module of a general purpose personal computer system.

32. The system of claim 25, wherein said at least one module comprises at least one module of health-care enterprise computer system.
