Abstract

The present invention relates to a method of a Relay Node (RN) using a reference signal. The method includes receiving information about a Dedicated Reference Signal (DRS) which is used to demodulate a control channel via high-layer signaling from an evolved-NodeB (eNB), receiving control information through the control channel from the eNB, receiving data through a data channel from the eNB, and demodulating the control information and the data. The control information is demodulated using a DRS indicated by the information about the DRS, and the data are demodulated using a DRS indicated by the control information.

14. A method of demodulating a signal for a receiver, the method comprising:

receiving control information through a control channel from an evolved-NodeB(eNB); and

demodulating the control information;

wherein the control information received through the control channel is demodulated based on user-equipment(UE)-specific reference signals transmitted by the eNB on fixed one antenna port.

15. The method of claim 14, further comprising:

receiving data through a data channel from the eNB; and

demodulating the data;

wherein the data are received based on resource allocating information included in the control information.

16. The method of claim 14, wherein a value of a transmission rank of the control channel is 1.

17. The method of claim 14, wherein a value of a transmission rank of the data channel is 1 or equal or more than 2.

18. The method of claim 17, wherein when the value of a transmission rank of the data channel is equal or more than 2,

the UE-specific reference signals transmitted by the eNB on fixed one antenna port are used for a demodulation of the data.

19. The method of claim 17, wherein when the UE-specific reference signals are transmitted on an antenna port n and used for a demodulation of the control information,

a plurality of UE-specific reference signals transmitted on antenna ports n, . . . , (n+k−

1) are used for a demodulation of the data. Here, the k is a value of a transmission rank of the data channel.

20. The method of claim 17, wherein the data are demodulated using UE-specific reference signals indicated by the control information.

21. The method of claim 14, wherein the control channel and the data channel are received at different time in a same subframe.

22. The method of claim 14, wherein the control channel is received in at least one OFDM symbol which placed after OFDM symbols used by the eNB in order to transmit the control channel to a macro user equipment and a guard time necessary for the receiver to perform transmission and reception switching, in a subframe including a plurality of OFDM symbols in a time domain and a plurality of subcarriers in a frequency domain.

23. A receiver, comprising:

a radio frequency(RF) unit configured to transmit and receive a radio signal; and

a processor connected to the RF unit,

wherein the processor is configured for;

receiving control information through a control channel from an evolved-NodeB(eNB); and

demodulating the control information;

wherein the control information received through the control channel is demodulated based on user-equipment(UE)-specific reference signals transmitted by the eNB on fixed one antenna port.

24. The receiver of the claim 23, wherein the processor is further configured for:

receiving data through a data channel from the eNB; and

demodulating the data;

wherein the data are received based on resource allocating information included in the control information.

25. The receiver of claim 23, wherein a value of a transmission rank of the control channel is 1.

26. The receiver of claim 23, wherein a value of a transmission rank of the data channel is 1 or equal or more than 2.

27. The receiver of claim 26, wherein when the value of a transmission rank of the data channel is equal or more than 2,

the UE-specific reference signals transmitted by the eNB on fixed one antenna port are used for a demodulation of the data.

28. The receiver of claim 26, wherein when the UE-specific reference signals are transmitted on an antenna port n and used for a demodulation of the control information,

a plurality of UE-specific reference signals transmitted on antenna ports n, . . . , (n+k−

1) are used for a demodulation of the data. Here, the k is a value of a transmission rank of the data channel.

29. The receiver of claim 26, wherein the data are demodulated using UE-specific reference signals indicated by the control information.

30. The receiver of claim 23, wherein the control channel and the data channel are received at different time in a same subframe.

31. The receiver of claim 23, wherein the control channel is received in at least one OFDM symbol which placed after OFDM symbols used by the eNB in order to transmit the control channel to a macro user equipment and a guard time necessary for the receiver to perform transmission and reception switching, in a subframe including a plurality of OFDM symbols in a time domain and a plurality of subcarriers in a frequency domain.
