  • a torque demand module structured to interpret a total machine torque target value;

    a primary torque contribution module structured to determine a first torque contribution corresponding to a first torque provider and a second torque contribution corresponding to a second torque provider;

    a supplemental torque contribution module structured to interpret at least one supplemental torque contribution value; and

    a torque provider control module structured to control the first torque provider and the second torque provider in response to the first torque contribution, the second torque contribution, and the supplemental torque contribution value.
